The truck had just been returned and reeked of cigarettes. The windshield was dirty and when I tried to use the wipers they barely worked. I ran into a storm and even with a light drizzle they could not keep the windshield clear. Fortunately the heater worked and the engine ran without a hitch. The people that worked at the facility were nice and helpful..Walter W.

The woman there was very unprofessional and provided the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. At first, she would not even let me into the building. Once I was "allowed to come in". She made me stand in one place and stated that I could not move? Since my wife made the reservation, she had to come into the room. She too, was instructed not to move as well. Strange thing is that, if she was so paranoid about the corona virus, why did'nt she wear gloves and a mask? After this experience, I will NEVER visit this location again. On the other hand, I went to another U-Haul location in Tempe, AZ the day before and had a completely different experience. The gentleman allowed my wife and I to come in. We picked out some packing tape and plastic bed covers, walked up to the man and completed our purchase without any issues. The woman at your Mesa facility, should contact this man for some valuable customer service skill lessons!Sandra H.

The pickup and drop off process was terribly difficult and took over an hour and a half combined. The rental process should be more seamless and easier for the customer. This was an absolutely brutal process and no one should ever have to experience something like this. Please make it more simple and easy.Marla B.
Terrible. Charged me a cleaning fee when the uhaul wasn't even dirty. I'll be sure to write a bad google review about this location for giving me a $25 cleaning fee.Nathan M.
I will not be using uhaul again due to your check in process over a phone. I was not notified I had to get a lock code from the website. The woman in the shop said I had to connect to your website. I spent 20 mins trying to check in to get the code. Your website said it could not connect to my location services from my phone. Google maps could tell where I was standing but not you website. I finally got help from the woman from the storage rental shop who got us checked in. She was more than helpful on getting us going while standing 6 feet apart. I give the location 5 stars for being very helpful. Uhaul as company, 1 star. The other thing was the truck. I don't know if it was the transmission or something to do with the brakes. The thing made so much noise you need to provide ear plugs.Jeff M.

The smart phone check in and check out system was a pain in the ass. Why is it my job to photograph the truck and and do your check list. An employee should do it. That is customer service. Not only was my ID taken when I checked in , it also had to be uploaded via my phone. I renting a truck not applying for the secret service. The last thing someone wants to do after moving all day in 112 degree weather is run around the truck photographing inside and out then trying to send it through your system via a tiny phone screen.Terri S.

Uhaul gave me the run around two weekends in a row. .. not truck at location. . why do you spend so much time calling .. confirming etc. . .when behind the scenes at uhaul . .there is no plan.JOE B.

Would not recommend the drop off at 6060 E Main in Mesa ,AZ. Paid $33.23 from Payson to Mesa. Wanted to charge me $153.00 to go back, scam.Vic K.
If there is a specific location where truck needs to be dropped off, it would have been nice to know that up front. I received a text from U-Haul informing me where the drop off location was 30 minutes AFTER I returned truck to a location 3 blocks away from me, and left keys in the drop box. I had to go there Monday morning, retrieve the keys, and take it to your designated "drop off" location.William J.
very bad customer service they keep playing with the rate they told me 20 dollar rate and next mints its 40 and for miles they said .69C a mile they charged me 99 i dont recommend any one to go there very poor customer service now i have to pay over 225 dollarLANA A.

This location was excellent. However, my reservation online was set up for a 26' truck at a location called At Your Convenience. They called to confirm my reservation earlier in the week. When I arrived they did not have any trucks. I was stranded without a rental truck. As I waited while they called around to locate a truck, I stared at the display of bongs and pot pipes behind the counter. What a horrible location to represent your brand. A 20' truck was located at Right Space storage. That location was perfect. As I had to drive further from my location, the clerk reduced my mileage to 49 cents per mile to try to accommodate the additional fees I incurred. My experiences with uhaul have always been a mixed bag. You should revoke the agreement you have with At Your Convenience. I don't believe they represent your brand in a positive light.kurt L.

We did not check the mileage to the mileage listed on the contract. When we returned it they stated that we went over 70 miles. We traveled only approx 20 miles. We learned a lesson to double check the beginning miles.charles D.

Office closed Sign on door "Working in back " Could not get anyone to to help me, I honked the truck's horn until a woman showed up From a distance, she yelled for me to park the truck and drop the keys in a lock box. I reserved online to save time and scheduled for 4pm I got there @345 to find a sign on door saying wouldn't be back till 415??? Then when they got back I had to give all the information to the guy again so it saved no time and I think when something is scheduled for a specific time ...you shouldn't close down and not reopen till 15 mins after the appt.Theresa C.
