It would've been nice to have someone in the office to speak with them in person. The app is cool concept but it has problems and it just would've been nice to speak with someone for assistance. Regarding the app: Sadly, the U-Haul app is not adequate and I was having issues. I did get help from personnel at another location via app chat and phone. It took me over 45 mins to get checked in and get the key. When I returned the truck, it took another 30 mins to get through the process. It was having issues accepting my photos and I was getting frustrated. I finally opened a browser and gave up on the app.Steven D.

The front-desk operator wasn't overly professional during my pickup or dropoff. There wasn't a customary review of the equipment before departing, and having a confirmation that it was reviewed and documented prior to taking possession of the equipment. The employee seemed "occupied" with other things and made suggestions that "you'll receive it via email". The same approach to check-out when I dropped off the equipment was also used, stating that she had another truck just come in and couldn't get me a receipt. I left feeling very uneasy that I didn't have a confirmation that the truck was received without damage, and with the appropriate level of gasoline. Heck, I didn't even get a confirmation yet that I actually delivered the truck back! She was "too busy" to be thorough in helping me with check-in and checkout and making me feel valued. The equipment was fine and everything else was as expected, just that the customer service could have been dramatically improved.Spencer B.

The Representative, Theresa was rude and she tried to charge me for a 2nd day when I couldn't return it after 6 hours. Then when I said I I needed to keep it past tge 24 hours and pay For a second day but that I did not want the $14 charge for protection the second day she said that she could not remove it and then I will have to pay it for the second day. The person running the program deliberately tried to increase the cost 3 times. The first time double our quote. The second 2 times an additional 100 dollars by trying to manipulate the computer to a cash price. The vehicle provided was covered in graphiti and beat to heck. I would recommend another vendor for your business.JOHN B.

I specifically picked this location because it mentioned there is an office and I could opt into in store pick up. When I arrived at the location there was no one in store and therefore was forced into using the online pick up option. If I had known this was the case, I would have allowed for a 1-2 hour gap between my truck pick up and movers arrival time. I was on the phone waiting for a reference acceptance for over an hour! This plus the time I spent waiting for someone to arrive in the office delayed my mover's start time by 30 minutes. I however, was still billed because I signed the contract with that moving company. Would NEVER recommend this location or uhaul for that matter.Jahaira V.

Honestly nothing against the location (it was just where we returned the truck to) the lady was wonderful super helpful! The truck however was damaged on the outside (issues with closing door even), dirty, and the box portion smelt horrible of smoke that was attempted to be covered up with a terrible smelling perfume. We also attempted to pick up without contact and had to contact uhaul and switch stuff around for whatever reason. I have always had wonderful experiences with uhaul but this was really disappointing.Garth K.

I was told on phone daytime Hours until 5:00pm. When I arrived at 1:00 it was closed with a sign ...out to lunch til 1:30. In short if you're going to close for lunch, then advertise it so I don't have to waste a half hour of time.James W.
Very disappointed that I was charged an extra day for turning in the truck 20 mins late. I wonder if that would have been the case if I had been one minute late? It's a sad commentary of our times that computers can so easily take the human element out of the equation. Okay, lesson learned. But I also noticed that I was charged an extra day of safe trip insurance when I had only asked for it for the one day. I sure hope the truck wasn't rented out the next day at my expense.Gregory L.

Upon arriving and checking in using my phone the U-Haul truck was unable to be pulled out as it was totally sandwiched between 2 other trucks. After call U-Haul I was able to switch trucks. However, In all the commotion I forgot to move the rented dolly to the new truck. I emailed U-Haul asking them to not charge for the dolly rental as it was not used and was still located in the original truck. Of course I was still charged for the unused dolly rental. don't let them rent U Haul equipment!!!! They refused to do a walk around and give me a total when i was there. There was 2 people in the office doing nothing. They said they would do the walk around when they got to it. They only time a walk around and final total has not been done, is when i dropped equipment off after hours.This may not be a regular U Haul office but they are selling your Brand and they suck at it. I will not recommend Rightspace Tanque Verde to anyone. Hate to see how they treat their storage customers.Mary M.

The truck smelled of strong body odor, every surface was sticky, and the strearing was very misaligned. The engine was extremely slow despite the "v8" power that was advertised. I want you to know that I generally don't give bad reviews but this was a very bad experience and I will not be using U-Haul in the future.Jonathan H.

The gentleman that took care of us was amazing... The reason I wouldn't recommend this location, is not because of the location, because of U-Haul. U-Haul kept my deposit and also the charge and moving is one of the five highest stressors and so for U-Haul to make a mistake like that at such a critical point in someone's life is unacceptable. I'm not happy about my experience and I will be telling everyone I know about it.Serena E.

I set up Uhaul rental via online. Recd estimate of $70 with no charge at that time for 24 hours use. Was called by employee from site saying I could come in an hour earlier to pick truck up. Instead I went in 1/2 earlier. This half hour cost me another days worth of truck rental. I made various calls to site and to Uhaul and was made to look stupid. Needless to say I returned truck beforehand and now I'm moving all small items in my Tahoe. Was it worth it no! Never again Uhaul. I've always lorded over using you cross country twice among other moves...but no more! Penske here we come!Gladys L.

The manager did not verify the miles in and I think I may have been over charged. When I checked in to obtain the truck he told me that the price would be adjusted based on actual miles, but when I returned he told me it was based on estimates miles and there was not any adjustment. We estimated 10 miles, but I was chargers 20. In addition, the person on the phone reservations said I had the option to choose insuramce. The manager told me that insurance was mandatory and not optional. Which is it?Jane K.

Contract indicated that gas tank was 7/8 full when I picked it up. I didn't look at gas gauge until I drove a few miles down the road. It was at 2/3, which is 20% more than contract indicated. Buyer beware is the general rule here but it was the first time ever that UHaul got it wrong for me. This cost me $$$.David R.
