No one was there it was after 12:noon on a Saturday Drop key in drop box.Thomas J.
I would suggest not using this location. The staff onsite were not helpful. The owner / manager when called was not helpful and did not pick up his phone again. It took over 2 hours to pick up the truck with no help from onsite employees or the manager / owner when he answered the phone once. After being on hold for 30 minutes, I finally got to talk to someone from the 800 UHaul line who could point me in the right direction. If it had not been the weekend and I was not in a time crunch, I would've cancelled my order and written a scathing review on every site I could find for both River St Auto and UHaul, and I still may. Alot of money for absolutely NO customer service.Dave D.

When I arrived I spoke with someone letting them know I was there to pick up a trailer and already checked in online. I was told to wait in the waiting area. The person I talked to was in the office doing scratch tickets with someone for a half hour. They then left the office for about a minute and when he came back he told me I could just hook the trailer up and take it now. I wasnt asked if i knew how to hook up and I didn't give my name and wasnt asked what who i was. As I was exiting the building I was asked what vehicle I was towing with so i told him. I hooked up, did a safety walk around then left.Michael L.
Trailer hitch was placed on ground. I told clerk who processed my pick up and he said he would send someone over. No one was ever sent over so I had to lift the trailer a good distance by myself. I had to load, drive 7 hours and could not unload or return trailer. I have missed 2 days of work because of this and am not a happy customer! Regards David WolfDavid W.
The guy that helped me hitch the trailer did not tighten down the lock over the ball. I drove over an hour they Fitchburg, down 495 and in Rt9 and lucky for me, and all those on the road around me, it didn't come off but that's crazy dangerous!!!! Nice guy but not so I knowledgable!Hasso E.

Currently in a dispute with the man working here, I dropped the Uhaul off after filling it up with gas back to a half tank. Was charged by Uhaul for gas, not sure why. The gentlemen at this location has been very rude and unhelpful, speaking over me. Very poor customer service and disrespectful.whittney C.

Gentleman in the office was abrupt and rude. I used self check-in through the site and went to the office to obtain the key per instructions. Gentleman told me he needed my license, etc. to check me in again. I responded that I had already done so to which he replied, "Doesn't matter, I need to do it again." I asked why he needed my personal information, as I had already been approved by uHaul. His response "Oh, yeah? What's your truck number? Huh?" Before finally handing me the key. The entire experience left a bad taste and as I have rented 12+ uhaul trucks over the last 18 months, never having been be spoken to and treated in such a manner, I will not be using this location again and will definitely tell others the same. If he treats a simple uhaul customer with such a nasty attitude, I can only imagine how he treats his actual customers.Elisabeth L.

Also have better knowledge of the drop off process. My friend had to ask someone if they worked in office cause noone was there, handed the guy the key and that ended that, wasnt very professional in my opinion. And not to mention was charged a wrong address fee. Even though it was the right location. Would never use uhaul again!!!alexis M.

After checking in with the app I was instructed to go to the office to get the key. I waited 55 minutes, including trying 3 phone numbers to try to reach a UHaul rep because no one would give me a key because they "Couldn't print the paperwork for me to sign," which I didn't need. Then after a UHaul rep called them they discovered the keys were locked in the vehicle and the battery was dead. The vehicle hadn't been cleaned and I had to wait on that. There was still trash in it when I got in and it was dirty and dusty. The truck worked well and we got the job done but lost an hour of move time and people waiting while we got the truck. No place to park the vehicle upon return, had to block the entire entrance to the facility with the equipment. If it was a larger truck, it would have blocked the sidewalk. Would not recommend at all.Ryan P.

It was great. The gentleman who put the truck through the computer, this was his first time and he followed directions well and got me the truck with little problemsAndrew K.
The truck had not been swept. Most concerning is that when I called this location the day before to confirm the pick up the next day, as indicated I should do by a phone call from U-Haul received a couple of hours earlier, the person who answered the phone didn't know anything about my rental and simply said there was no truck in the yard. That created quite a bit of worry and phone calls trying to make sure there actually would be a truck available the next day.Julia K.

The establishment that uhaul was part of was a half an hour late to opening. Then they couldn't find keys for the truck I had reserved a week prior. Wanted me to drive over 20 miles for another truck. Finally found keys and after 2 hours I was able to leave the parking lot.koro B.
