This was my first time picking up a vehicle from this location.The truck was dirty and drove very rough. The transmission shifted hard and the breaks were loud. The drivers side lock was sticking and when we returned it, the store manager questioned me about it since he couldn't get the key inside the lock. I had to wait until he spoke to someone, while speaking another language before I was able to check out.

Person staffing was VERY SLOW and kept waiting on other customers before me. Very rude. The van was blocked in and had to ask clerk to move his car. Nickled and dimed to death. Tried to charge me for equipment and pads I didn't use. Didn't even bother to help get the heavy dolly from the back room. Didn't speak English. Would never rent from here again.

Make sure the vehicle is clean. Also invoice sent to my phone was quoted 157.00. Upon arrival the bill was 50.00 more dollars.

I had to cancel my online reservation after trying for almost an hour so I brought it back an hour later than my original online reservation because I got started late moving and was charged significantly more than I was quoted. Never renting from uhaul again.

U Haul needs to investigate this place. Woman did not come out and check truck, gas , or mileage. Later, I was charged $20 for driving 140 miles over the allotment which is a complete lie. We drove from point A to point B and nowhere else. There is a scam going on here for sure. AVOID U-HAUL!!!!

Service was good. I had signed up to do the mobile check in but could not figure it out so the clerk helped me out and completed the process for me. Returning the van was very quick. No complaints.

The lady who assisted me at pick up was very rude. The uhaul was DIRTY and smelled bad. The young man who worked us when we returned the uhaul was EXCELLENT, so nice and helpful! Great guy!

The truck i rented would not start at first. But, after trying several tries if started. The back of the truck had a tool laying on the floor i turned it in. The back of the truck should have been sweeped out. When i returned the truck i had to wait 20 minutes to get the truck checked in. Only one attendant on duty.

Just keep doing what you are doing. The young lady that’s there on Saturday morning is great when I pick up, and the young man that’s there when I drop off is great as well. Both are friendly and customer service driven. Love getting my van from this location.

It took a very long time for this location to check me in and check me out. I registered ahead of time online and I was still there about an hour combine time. Cashier at the gas station when she was very busy and could not stop to help us get on our way.

Truck had severe leak in the windshield that a cause loud piercing noice across all IN as it was windy out... couldn't talk on phone or listed to radio. I notified location as well as about unauthorized ins charge and was told to call Corp as nothing they could do. I've called and filed complaint with Corp and was told someone would call me back to address and make it right; no one has called... very poor business practice... my mom had recently passed away and was hauling her items from her home... This was the second location I had to go to since the first location, 818 S Main St, was allegedly full and did not have my truck listed as one to be dropped off there. After calling up Uhaul customer service and getting transferred multiple times, I was finally able to get someone to change my drop-off location to 1318 S Maint St.

The cashier was great as she tried to handle me renting the truck and waiting on customers for gas. I had to unfortunately wait a long time. She helped with my patience, for I felt sorry for her.

The employee at this location was working both the check out counter for the Convenience Store and the Uhaul Center. He did not know what he was doing and I had to wait over 40 minutes to get checked out because he kept going over to check customers out on the Convenience Store register and left me waiting. Terrible service and I would appreciate a $50 refund for the inconvenience. Bob Horvath

U-Haul counter was crowded into a corner with about a foot of counter space. The staff was marginally communicative. I felt like they had little interest in the rental and that it was a minor part of their business. The truck was clean but had an overpowering air freshener. I ran with the windows down. Steering was very loose and the transmission shifted roughly and was noisy.

I was disappointed in the mileage and the new van got. Online it says to expect an average of 18 miles per gallon. Of course driving conditions will vary. However, this one got closer to 11. It’s more than a slight variation and I don’t understand why that would be. I drove interstate for most of the trip and had a load of less than 150 pounds. The rest of the time was driving back and forth between Rolesville in wake Forest with a load of about 300 pounds. Certainly no extreme conditions. And I did not use the air conditioner. I was told to expect good mileage and that this was in fact good mileage. However, I rented a box truck a few weeks ago that got better mileage with a whole lot more of a payload. The difference in price is not great, however with a non-stressful driving situation if this is the best mileage that can be expected, I think there must be something wrong with the van. Otherwise it was a nice van and very smooth on the road.

My opinion of the experience: This is a gas station / convenience store that is not appropriately staffed to handle rentals. The same person selling pop and gas is doing the contracts. Has no idea how to use the computer. If you're the only person there to rent a vehicle, it takes 15 minutes to get the vehicle, and 15 to return it. The worst part; I rented a vehicle for only a 12 mile round trip. The rent form showed gas at a certain full rate - which was very, very close to the gauge (maybe 1 mm low compared to what they put on the form - and that was done kind of sloppily so it was open to "interpretation." I put enough gas in it to bring it back to exactly the same level it was at when I rented it, and enough to cover any gas used on that short trip. Then as I return the vehicle, the attendant decides the mark is slightly off, and I owe an extra $12 for refueling charges. I explain that it is at the same level as when I left, only went 12 miles as the odometer shows, I bought gas to cover what was used, and I can provide a receipt for that if necessary. He says that is not necessary; he'll change it. Then the way they had it set up, I had to sign an electronic pad before seeing the final bill. I sign - and get a printout - and find he has still charged me $6 for refueling. Whether you think that was complete incompetence or outright theft, either way that's just wrong. I've rented UHAUL trucks on a number of occasions in the past, and have always had a good experience at every other location. This by contrast was truly awful. I would never go to this store for a rental again.

When I took it to drop it off as my assigned location, the attendant refused to allow me to drop it there, said he couldn't find my reservation in the system and said he would charge me an extra day to leave it (which he did). Uhaul should not use this location again. Very disappointed. When I called customer service they said all they could see in the system was that I was a day late. I had a picture on my phone from the app which clearly stated I didn't have to drop off until the day I dropped it. Will not use Uhaul again. EVER.

You need to provide instruction in the trucks for adjusting the mirrors. This is not intuitive and the employee had to call someone to get an answer. Overall, it was a very good experience. That is a very convenient location for me.

Warning lights: low tire pressure and low wiper fluid. Tried to fix tires but was unsuccessful. Wiper fluid wasn’t low; it was empty. Other than these issues the rental was very good. Backing up was difficult due to the cage but I made it work.

While I would rate the pickup location as excellent, I would rate Uhaul's phone support as terrible. You lacked ANY cohesive information, bounced me from person to person and 800 # to 800 # with no helpful answers leaving me to put UHaul as my very LAST truck rental supplier in future.

I felt very unsafe in this location. The lady was unable to check me out because of the unsavory customers. She could not go out to check the vehicle, milage or gas. I waited for over 30 minutes just to be able to get her attention only to be told she would just have to email my receipt. I used half the estimated milage, left more gas than I received and spent an inordinate amount of time trying to park the truck on the premises without blocking the gas pumps or other customers. I just received my emailed bill, it is twice the estimated cost because the transaction wasn't complete in the allotted 6 hour time block. (They charged me for 2 "chargable rental periods" doubling all charges, to include the "safe move" coverage. Choose any other uhaul but this one. Theresa

Willie was a wonderful help when the app wasn't working. The uhaul app is not very easy to use and wouldn't accept the inputs.
