When I picked up the truck, the cart and blankets I had paid for were not inside. I looked in other trucks until I found the appropriate items.John L.
Equipment was delivered dirty, place is difficult to contact, however the agent helped me to connect the trailer, and did basic check. U-Haul as a company was VERY DISAPPOINTING by cancelling the rental I had confirmed and could pick-up up to 4:00 PM as per the local agent.VICENTE D.

I didn't request the insurance when I made my reservation online, but it was added when I picked up the trailer. It is my fault that I didn't catch it, but I am disappointed that it was added at pick-up when I clearly did not ask for insurance when I signed up and paid for the rental using the app. That felt sketchy. Now I have learned that UHaul may actually add things to my reservation which I did not want and will double check the rental agreement before leaving.Luis A.

My problem is with Uhaul not this location. I made a reservation for the Friday before and there were no trucks available and no one called to let me know. Then I was offered to travel 3 hours to pick up an available truck for the date reserved. I was only able to get reasonable accommodations for 2 days after the initial reservation. Uhaul overbooked both locations I spoke with with no communication to me about this. I made plans for people to help me and their whole weekend was disrupted as a result. Communication would have prevented this-I am very disappointed in Uhaul after this experience and I have always used you when I needed to move. After this experience I will look at other options.KELLEY D.
The person at this location offered NO assistance at all. She did not even leave the office. She did not inspect the equipment, do a walk around, or hook up the auto transport to our vehicle. When we hooked it up ourselves, the left tail light & blinker did not work. She offered no assistance at all, she said we could take it â€œas isâ€ and call the 800 number to have someone come fix it or leave it there & go find another one ourselves at another dealer. I know this goes against company policy because they are not supposed to let a customer leave the lot with an inoperable piece of equipment. This location gets a big fat ZERO for customer service. She blamed her poor service on COVID. I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. We could have social distanced ourselves if she had come outside to do her job.Michael P.

This has to be the absolute worse experience I have ever had with uhaul! No one called me to confirm my rental so I tried reaching out to the business the night before. I got an answering machine. She (Billie) returned my call and confirmed my rental but informed me it wouldn't be ready at the 10:00 am reservation time. She asked that I come at 10:30. Ok, no problem. I get there at 10:27 and no one is there. I Cyrus calling and she answered and proceeded to inform me that she told me not to come until 10:30. I politely told her it was 10:27. Then she proceeds to rattle off excuses. So we waited longer. She then proceeds to send me a text message asking me to text her a copy of my credit card and driver's license! I have never had a business request this. Needless to say, I refused to do that. She finally rolls in at 11:00 with bags of food, her son (I'm guessing) and numerous lottery scratch tickets. I have been waiting for over an hour from when my reservation was scheduled and I have movers at my house waiting to get us loaded and this lady find is more important to stop and get food and lottery tickets. She takes a few pictures of the trailer and our license plate and tells us to go ahead and leave. No paperwork, no nothing. Then that evening I noticed my credit card was charged an additional $42.80 for safe tow. O DID NOT ORDER OR AUTHORIZE THIS CHARGE! I was in the phone for an hour trying to get this issue resolved. This entire experience was horrible. Uhaul customer service has gone downhill.Clarence A.

The contract I received stated 121110 as the milage of the truck.. when I checked the turck it was 121118. I discuss it with the lady and she manually made ammendment on the sheet I signed and that she would change that on the system.. aparently this was not done. I am very desapointed on the lack of proactiveness to fix this.JUAN A.

Bottom line...The 2 people that were working at this location were the most disrespectful people i have ever came across when it came to customer service, they over charged me over $1000 and said to me" you will be charged and shut the door in my face. I could go on and on with the smart, sarcastic remarks made but it makes me sick at my stomach that such people can treat others like this, I guarantee you im not the first customer this has happened to.CONNIE A.

DON'T use this location if you don't have to. Our reservation was at 9am and she didn't arrive until 9:30-9:45 as she was â€œstuck in trafficâ€. Once she arrived, she didn't mention anything about being late. I called the original location I booked the reservation through and he said she was the only one we could use and to leave her a review as she's known for being difficult. I have rented equipment from other uhaul locations and this location is probably not up to uhaul standards. I was told to find the trailer and hook it up myself then come and get her so she can check it then was told to check the lights, " if the turn signal works then the brake lights work". I don't think this is what uhaul expects.ROBERT H.

The location for us was great; however, the truck was filthy and the back door would not release (would not come back down as the bracket would get stuck because the door went too far up). The person knew that this was a problem as it had occurred before and we had to take it back to find out how to release the door).Jerry C.
I was given a quote of $880.00 and was told it was only an estimate to get my equipment reserved. I had given my current and final destinations for quoted reservation. Then I was given a second quote of $990.00. Both had emails attached. The third and final quote I was given was only a verbal quote, no email attached. The final quote and payment was $1124.00, when I asked why the difference the response I got was because the rate changes for differ days and mind ya, I was reserving for the same day, when I first contacted this location, in Columbus Indiana. My personal opinion was I was taken advantage of and overcharged.Richard H.

1) I've rented uhauls many times over the years, and this is the first time I've ever had to hitch it to my vehicle by myself. No one to guide me as I maneuvered the car towards the trailer, no one to lift and attach to my vehicle, no one to endure trailer lights were operational. This 6x12 is quite heavy and I doubt most women or older men could handle it Safely. 2) I reserved a dozen furniture pads and none were available when I arrived. I was told I could scrounge through the other trailers and see if any were left inside if I wanted to. 3) when I was told no pads were available I was still charged for them until after I returned the trailer, and then I had to dispute the final invoice. I've typically had very good experiences with uhaul and hope this was only an isolated incident with a location I won't use again in my area.Douglas T.

I picked the truck up with a 1/4 tank of gas and returned it to this location with 3/8 of a tank of gas and she is trying to charge me $45.58 for gas. This is a total rip off. And I expect this to be reimbursed back to my account ASAP!FREDRICK C.

My original appointment was scheduled for 8am with truck share. Turns out the appointment was never created properly and I couldn't pick the truck up with truck share. I called and was sent to another location that didn't open until 10. I get there at 10:15 and no one was there. I called all the numbers I could find to get a hold of the owner to no avail. I called uhaul again to tell them no one was at the facility to get me my truck. By 10:45 someone finally showed up, gave me my key and sent me on my way. The inside of the truck was dirty, had soda on the windshield and a broken center console. I spent nearly $600 on this rental and I'm extremely disappointed.Tyler S.

First time that I have used this location for a rental. Grass around facility was knee high and doesn't appear that this location is cared for very well. The parking area for this location looks to be newly dumped dirt that is not packed down very well with not gravel or pavement at all. When picking up the trailer I was given no hook up support other than the lady coming out to take a picture of the trailer hitch once I had everything hooked up. The trailer had a hole in the roof or top therefore some of the items that I had inside got wet due to the rain. It had been raining overnight so that upon return of the trailer the lot was extremely muddy and hard to navigate not to mention an extreme mess when unhooking the trailer and then I had to get back into my vehicle with filthy, muddy feet because there was nowhere to clean my feet. When I returned the trailer I was given no assistance in parking or unhooking the trailer, I was just told to leave it over by the other trailers. Not a good U-Haul experience at all, very disappointed that U-Haul would even consider allowing this location to operate as a dealer.John F.
