The location itself is not bad. However, for this particular rental the truck was not clean. It had a lot of dust and what smelled and looked like cigarette ash all over the dash. I wiped it down with Clorox Wipes to clean it.RONALD C.

I was Incorrectly charged an additional after hours service fee of $20. I actually returned the trailer early. Also, I originally rented this trailer online the evening prior to when I picked it up. I was sent to this alternative location. When there I was invited in to a small office where COVID social distancing was difficult only to re-enter rental information which was previously provided. The attendant was wearing a mask but the small interior size of the office and the necessity to enter a rental information a second time put me at at additional risk and slowed down the process.MARK M.
When I scheduled online, this location was listed as one you could do an early pickup using your phone. However, the trucks were behind a locked gate and that would not have been possible if I had tried to pick it up at the earliest time I had scheduled.Elizabeth L.

Uhaul made us drive 47 min away from our house to pick this truck up. The guy had no clue we had a reservation. Had to sit and wait. They we had to wait again because he had to sweep the truck. And the tuck gas was on empty.Andrzej M.

It does not even look like a rental place. Did not seem professional. Truck was great. Originally rented from Crystal Lake, last minute they said to pick up in Cary. They could have driven the truck to Crystal Lake rather than change my location.d reane S.

I was given the new 5x8 with the new hitch. I threw up all the way to RI. It wasn't latched onto the ball from the pick up. It bounced everywhere. I stopped and seen it needed to be set down on the ball more securely. It still was very scary pulling it. Dealers need to be trained on it. I will not pull one again!Donna P.

I am furious with the entire experience. I was grossly over charged for gas which I paid and put in the vehicle but still was charged again. Did not want the insurance but of course was charged for it. So irritating and frustrating. I was delayed over forty minutes to begin my day because the keys were not here. Super irritated with the entire operation will not use uhaul again. Fraudulent charges and poor systems and service.Scott P.
Only issue was that the location I arranged for the truck rental had to be changed due to vehicle inavailability, but the new location was only a couple miles away. The new location and original location I still had to visit to pick up packing supplies were very nice.Jeffrey S.

Bill the guy who handled my experince was Great. The truck was a lite beat up and dirty but otberwise no issues, I filled back to 3/4 tank but It was marked under that messurement but I have no proof to support this so I would notes argue future.William D.

Maintain the air conditioning system and battery charging system. The air conditioning system did not work well - almost no cooling on a very hot day driving 500 miles. During that same day the truck would not start after stopping for fuel and we lost 4 hours while a new alternator was installed. The failures of both the air conditioning system and alternator on the road are due to poor - or no - maintenance and utter professional failure if the persons responsible.Chuck H.

Uhaul switched our pickup location to an hour and a half away the night before our reservation. The uhaul rep at the pickup location was very kind and welcoming. However, the uhaul was given to us with an empty gas tank. When we returned the uhaul the same night as our pickup date, I received a phone called two days later stating I had not returned my uhaul. This was because the uhaul rep never checked in the truck on the uhuaul system.Melina M.

It wasn't the location that caused a bad experience. It was UHaul. Our reservation was for 9am with online check-in. We arrived a little before 9 and the AP said our pickup wasn't ready yet so we waited a while. When it still wasn't ready, we asked a person in the office and we were told they couldn't help us because they had no control over things done online with UHaul. The AP said to use their online chat if there were issues so I tried the online chat. I sent 4 messages over the span of 20 minutes and couldn't get an answer. In the meantime I also tried the customer service phone number and after a half hour on hold no one ever picked up. So I tried contacting someone via Facebook. We were finally able to get the keys a half hour late. Then we were sent a reminder that we had to return our UHaul at 3pm sharp to avoid being charged more money so we lost a half hour of time due to UHauls poor customer service and we were going to be penalized for it. We ended up in a really stressful scramble to get it back in time. It's funny that you scrutinize individual locations so hard but want no feedback on yourselves. The location wasn't a problem. The trailer was very clean and Mr Bill helped me to hook it up and made sure everything was functioning before I left the facility. He was there to greet me when I returned it and helped me to unhook everything. What a service. They are excellent.Ben B.
