This location was closed when I dropped off, and the lot was dark, and there's a busy bar next door, which wasn't a problem for me, but might be intimidating/scary for somebody else. I tried and tried to return the trailer via the app, but wasn't able to do it, and couldn't get any answers to help me. I've had problems with that app before - in theory it's a good idea, but ultimately it's infuriating and VERY frustrating. Ultimately, I took photos of the trailer in the dropoff location with time and date stamps and wasn't charged the additional $20 that it said I would be, which was nice. Overall experience of dropoff was a C+.

Location and local service were fantastic, UHaul's self-check-in through the App sucks! While touted as being fast and easy, it's neither of those. I had to wait for the business to open to get my vehicle since no one on the Support Chat through the app would respond.

I was extremely happy with my pick up and return. Couldn't be better.

Vehicle smelled like cigarette smoke when we got in. I had to pay a $100 deposit that is not stated on the website due to the type of debit card I was using. I had to wait 3 extra days before they could even process my difference back from the $100 card. I had to call and request I get my money back once business opened back up. I still have not gotten my money back and it's the day after he supposedly processed my payment. Nothing is even pending. Super disappointed since we have been coming here for years. Will be contacting the BBB soon if I don't see my refund by Friday. Won't be back. Look forward to seeing this location get resold to someone that cares or closed down altogether.

The windshield had not been cleaned, there were dead bugs smashed all over the windshield. I went to gas station and attempted to get them off, but they were so dried on even a couple attempts with leaving the water on the windshield to soak and scrubbing would not get the majority of them off. Then while cleaning the windshield and walking around the front I realized there was a full-sized bat stuck in the grill still.

Associate accused me of stealing the truck after needing it longer than expected from rain. He sent me a horrible email using offensive and sexual language . super unprofessional and hostile. I will never use this service again and highly recommend looking elsewhere for moving help. This place is a total joke.

To be fair. The owner of this place is great. A very nice guy and was helpful throughout. My issue stemmed form being given the wrong truck when I picked it up. This wasn't discovered until over an hour later when I was at home and had filled it up with gas. For starters it's total BS that uhaul even rents a truck that isn't filled with gas. This in no way should be a customer's responsibility and would have alleviated the entire issue. I was able to get in contact with the owner 2 minutes before he closed to let him know I had the wrong truck. He was VERY kind and agreed to stay late to let me swap to the correct one. This whole process put me back about 2 hours and screwed up my itinerary for a cross country move.

Pick up location was not as listed online. I received a phone call confirmation telling me a different pick up location. As a result of the different location (further from my home), I went over the allowed miles and ended up paying for extra miles driven. Gas tank was not full as specified in the contract.

The owner was very rude and not helpful. I've had better customer service. He did not even explain fees or insurance coverage options and never gave me a reason to ever come ba l to his store for any reason. Worse owner ever.

The left blinker on the car dolly Did not work when I picked up the trailer. The employee acknowledged that they knew they had a problem with the light assembly so he wiggled the wires until they began working and then used tape to secure the wires. Problem was reported upon drop off in Palmetto. Everything else was great.

The individual who attached trailer to my SUV did not tighten the hitch to the ball, two blocks from pickup the trailer came off the ball, the chains did hold therefore no one was hurt.

Matt was extremely helpful in renting our Uhaul. We had originally planned to pick up a truck at a different location. He explained that I needed to return the truck to his store instead of leaving it a our final location while giving us a break on the extra mileage. I would do business with him again!
