The location was alright and the owner was very nice and helpful! Van was clean and well maintained. Only issue I have is that I received the wrong code/instructions from Uhaul to retrieve the keys for the van, then had to sit on the phone with customer service for about an hour trying to get the correct instructions/code. Eventually got the correct code but it cost me valuable moving time.Anna N.

Excellent experience!! The owner met me there an hour and a half earlier than the store opened because I needed the trailer at 8 am. The trailer itself was perfectly clean and in great shape. I hooked the trailer up and the lights didn't work. She patiently waited with me while I was troubleshooting. Finally when I couldn't figure it out, she walked me down to her mechanic friend (who was as equally nice and helpful) at the opposite corner, and he was able to help me.Charles F.

This location manager was very helpful. I was very unhappy about being moved around to different locations to get my truck. This caused me unnecessary cab fees and lost time. I don't recommend uhaul to friends for this reason.Morgan H.
Made the reservation online, got the confirmation about the 'PREFERRED' pickup location. Drove 2.5 hours to get to the location just to find out that 'PREFERRED' location just means that it was bullshit and you have to go 5 miles (25 min drive time) to another pick up location. The first location confirmed that there was a truck available before we left. Once we got to the second location they refused to give us the truck but gave another location to go pick up the truck. At that point I was boiling with anger, I called uhaul customer service and finally I was able to talk to a 'MANAGER'. Not really sure who made him the 'MANAGER' he was rude, unprofessional, loud, argumentative and had no experience how to talk to a frustrated customer who was 3 hours away from home and not knew what to do with the situation. In pas 20 years I have used uhaul in numerous states and multiple locations, never have I ever had this experience in my life with uhaul. Please stop conning people by giving them 'PREFERRED' location, that is extremely mean and unprofessional thing to do. I thought that was my pick up location not knowing that it was a language meant to engage people and when they get there its a switch and bait situation. Not really sure If i will be using uhaul in future, i will also tell people how i was treated by the uhaul staff. Second location: Sign was not visible from the road, the place itself looks like a jail, had to drive down the block to pick up the truck.Kamran S.

My main issue with renting from this location was the fact that I requested a furniture dolly on my reservation and I wasn't told they didn't have one until I picked up the truck which left me trying to find one at the last minute, nor did this location sell locks to lock the back of the truck. In addition to that upon receiving the truck I was advised that it had less than a quarter tank of gas so she was kind enough to give me a $15 credit but now before getting on the road I need to make an additional stop to fill up the rental truck. This is my 4th time renting a Uhaul and I never received a truck or van with less than a quarter tank of gas. My suggestion would be to simply rent the trucks out of a full tank or at least close to it.Billy G.

I did not use this location, but, rather, U-Haul Moving and Storage of Overbrook. They were great. Why would U-haul ask me to rat a location that I did not use? Speaks once again to the weakness of your computer systems.Michael W.

The trucks are parked in a muddy area, and it rained the previous day, so the truck and the equipment had mud on them. However, I would like to commend the owners, who were able to get us the equipment and fix the issues that the Uhaul customer phone (dis)service had created. The personnel at that location was very professional and helpful, the customer phone (dis)service has been a never ending nightmare that created a convoluted mess at every single step of the process. We were not even able to use the free storage offer due to the inability of Uhaul's phone customer (dis)service to successfully book a facility! And they did not cancel orders that I asked to cancel weeks in advance! Simpy OUTRAGIOUS!ELISA M.

This is a shop which performs multiple types of services, not only U-Haul. This resulted in a very long wait time, both when picking up and when returning the vehicle. The single employee was very pleasant and nice, but the wait, of over 40 minutes for pickup, was unreasonable. This was after checking in online.Shmuel E.

We were scheduled for 9:30. All the staff came in late. I was told I was being given an extra day only to be told the so called extra day was non-refundable. My reservation was changed 2 days before to a smaller truck and the car transport was no where to be located. As a long time customer, I was disappointed.Monica S.

The location and equipment were fine. However, I had a reservation and had to go to two other Uhaul locations before actually getting a truck (5 hours later). I almost missed my moving deadline, and spent most of my day trying to track down a Uhaul truck at two different locations. Apparently, a reservation doesn't mean anything, so unlikely using Uhaul ever again.aaron G.

The place I was suppose to get the unit did not have one, so I was redirected to Savannahs. U Haul is only a sideline for these guys. Waited on others getting car tags, etc. I booked the unit weeks before my arrival, so I would have expected the trailer would be available to me at the location specified. The folks here were great, but U Haul's regional scheduling service was poor. The truck I picked up (26') was supposed to be available in a different location and 15' in size. It was much harder to navigate and used much more gas. I also had to go to 3 locations to get the equipment I had reserved in advance.Raymond L.
