Took about 30 minutes to pick up. Reserved online, but still had to do everything again there. Price online quoted $10 less. Didn't like the surprise of paying more!

was very kind and helpful. Then you wanted us to drop it off further north of our destination. NOT! We dropped at the Shell Station on Hwy 34 in Albany OR because that was on our way home. I got a call on Monday wonderiing why we hadn't dropped it off yet! Wow, it was supposed to be recorded on line when we dropped it. Go figure!

The person Ernie was very rude, he instructed my son to take pic of gas gadge, my son got in car thinking it was for our record, Ernie started yelling at him and said he was wasting his fucking time, my son did not know to take pic into store and show other guy, when I confronted him he yelled at me and said to go, ahead and tell his boss, he was so rude the other worker had to tell him to stop, worst customer service I have ever experienced

First off, the location and its employees were great. They were adament about helping me no matter what. Even when Uhaul’s payment process took 2 hours. They kept trying and eventually I was on my way with a car dolley. The Uhaul website however, refused to acknowledge that my ‘72 Lincoln would pull another car, which caused this whole fiasco. After a few calls to Uhaul, we finally got everything worked out. The Uhaul employees were great. Might want to work on your website, though.

No I would not recommend this to a friend bathroom is absolutely hideous there are pictures if I could attach them I'll try. Looks like I don't see a way to attach the pictures however if you respond to my email and you must have that then I can attach those to a different email I recommend a complete tear out of the facilities restroom and a complete do-over. Whoever did him the first time didn't do a couple of things correctly and no one cleans them they're filthy they're awful and they're deteriorated

First of all I had to pick my u-haul up in Lynnwood WA not Everett, then I had to return it ferther away then needed. I should get a refund because the only reason I had to return it to where I did was because they had no trucks. It was out of my way to return it there. Also I rented a trailer to pull a motorcycle and when I returned the u-haul they didn't even have my two contracts together, took almost 45 min to check in u-haul and get the deposit back from the trailer. I also returned the u-haul with more gas then it had when I got it.. I think I deserve some money back. I paid $407.00 for this u-haul and didn't even come close to using the mileage you guys said I needed...

First of all, I have rented u-Hauls so many times over the years and was never charged additional fees if I returned a little late. This place charged me an entire additional day even though I had it only 2 additional hours. Then, since I took the safe tow insurance, I was also charged this twice even though. like I said, I did not have the truck a second day. What was supposed to cost me $132, cost me $200. I will never rent from this location again.

They had zero supplies like maybe a adapter. You all have the 4 pronged wiring system. Besides that....good.

They did not have truck ready. They didn’t have vehicle inspected. We had to wait for everything to get done for over an hour. Then they forgot to put our dolley in the truck and had to go back for it.

After using the trailer we noticed it was missing the bolt to keep the pin on. The whole thing could have fallen apart on us! Also, when the person helping us was moving a truck out of the way she backed it right into another truck... also took over 30 minutes to run the card and get the truck moved so we could get hooked up.

I rent a truck about once a month, the last time it went smoothly, this time was unacceptable. The person handling the u-haul transactions also had to handle the cash register at the convenient store. She kept helping the other customers first, until i said something. Other customers walked away because they didn't want to wait. The internet connection was absurdly slow. Took over 30 minutes to finalize turning in the truck when i brought it back. Will never use that location again.

All three of the above question describe the excellent service provided by South Albany Shell. The experience was excellent from start to finish, check-in was very easy, the staff was very pleasant and efficient. The convenience of location, site and the fact that on the return the facility is a gas station provided a easy return. This site represents the U-Haul experience with a 5-Star rating.

Had a problem with mileage. Employee wrote wrong mileage upon check out so was presented with bill way higher than quoted. Corrected when employee went back out to double check. Process for check out was extra long as "system was down" Entire check out took about 30 minutes!

Update the computer equipment that the employees have to process rentals - process should not take over an hour. Train the employees in customer service - Was overcharged and no refund offered or provided. Make sure there are enough employees available to handle U-haul rentals, gas pumps, and market customers.Train them to count - paid for 12 blankets but got 6.

My experience with uhaul was horrendous. Originally I had a reservation in Independence, OR. I drove 30 minutes to pick up a 17 ft uhaul. Upon arrival, I was told that my reservation was given to someone else and I was stuck with a 26 ft rig. I reserved a 17 because it fits where I need it. The independence location had no other options for me. So I had to backtrack 40 minutes to get a 15 ft rig which wouldn't hold all of my belongings. I ended up saying lots of gas and money because of uhaul's unacceptable, horrible customer service.

You should have the trucks fueled up completely, that way when people bring them back they don't have to guesstimate a "fuel to" line. Seems a little shady to have to pay for gas for Some one else.

They didn't help me hook up the car hauler or check to be sure I had everything done correctly. Checking out took a long time even though it was supposed to have been set up on line. For some reason my reservation was spontaneously switched to thousands location from my preferred location in Corvallis.

Our reservation was for a different location. We were not connected the day before to confirm our reservation, which was at a different location. We arrived at the location we reserved to discover that the truck was at another dealer (South Albany Shell). We were asked to co firm gas and mileage. Gas was indicated to be 1/2 tank on paperwork. When we checked, gauge was reading 3/8. Attendant noted discrepancy.

Every aspect of the process starting with online booking, pick-up, the truck and drop off was a pleasure. I found the truck suprisingly comfortable in a long drive. One thing I would like to have had was asirius/xm radio option add on. Possible profit stream for u-haul and safer than searching for radio stations on cross country drive.

We rented the truck to transport grass hay since our pickup was in the shop. We swept it out well when finished, but were told that we MIGHT have to pay a $25 çleaning fee'... it was waived after all, but if the truck is supposed to be returned in pristine condition, you should make that clear to renters ... all that was left were tiny particles in the crevices which we could not reach. If you really expect people to VACUUM (?) the truck out, you should make that clear. Thanks for NOT charging the cleaning fee. All else was fine...

The checkout process took nearly 45 minutes. It would be nice to speed that part up. It seemed to me that the employees could have benefited from more training and newer equipment. The computer they were using was old and slow. To their credit, all three employees I interacted with were very friendly and apologetic about how long it was taking.

I ordered a 10' truck online to move my daughter. I received an email confirmation. and then a phone call....there are no 10' trucks available and I was going to have to drive 45 mins out of my way to pick one up. They offered extra mileage and I let them know this wouldn't work. They put me in a 20' truck. I needed to have a friend take the day off since I was not comfortable driving a 20' truck. My question is why do you offer this online when it is not available? I would recommend not giving a 10' truck as an option if you do not have one.

I really don't know of anything that could have been done differently to improve our experience when returning the truck. Everything went smooth. The employees were friendly and efficient. Excellent experience.

We expected tp pick up the truck at the location from which we ordered the truck, which was near the home we were moving from. The clerk who served us seemed not to know how to complete the order, and finally called U-Haul for information on how to do the paper work. The refrigerator dolly was not supplied, as ordered. Upon returning the truck, further phone calls were required to complete the transaction, delaying the process.

I registered online and when I went to pick up the trailer it took over 40 minutes to get the paperwork done. What is the point of filling out information online. I couldn't go anywhere else because I needed a car trailer.

I rented the small truck and one utility dolly. I had it for less then 24 hours i got charged for 2 dollies and charged for 48 hours on both. I filled gas tank they still marked it as 11/16 of a tank! I was told i would be refunded half my 126$ give or take change witch would be a 63$ refund. They YOU only refunded 34$and change. I will never us uhaul again or recommend to anyone i know!!!

On phone was told there was overnight key drop box. Upon arrival was told that wasn't true, only between operating hours of 5 am to midnight. Upon return at 11:15 pm I was told they don't accept returns after 11. Thankfully he broke policy and returned it. Also, it is located in a gas station convenience store. Although I checked in online the night before to "save time," checkout was a 1/2 hour because the person continually left to help people purchase candy bars and soda pop. Next time I will go strictly to a Uhaul location.

The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas we we took possession of it. We filled it up, not knowing how'd he we would need to complete our trip. We ended up only using 1/2 tank this giving you 1/4 tank of free gas when we turned it in. We will demand a full tank next time.

Because it was a gas station took 30 minutes to get rung up. Every time a customer for gas came in they stopped with me and helped them. Felt totally like I was a burden there and will never return to that location. Will rent from Penske next time. Also had 2 hook up my own trailer because they were too busy with gas customers. Totally felt like I was a big in convince the entire process. Never again
