There are not many staff on hand, and the staff arrived late to open the entrance gate, so I couldn't get my rental on time. I used the mobile pick-up which is a breeze for most U-haul locations, but not here. According to StorageBlue, the building opens at 8, but no employees were there to open the location until 8:15. There were not many vehicles and the parking lot is incredibly small - no room for personal vehicles, so I took an Uber. We had to move a van out of the way to access my rental, even though mine was for the first available time slot in the morning. Simple planning and attention to detail could have made this a quick pick up, but this location cut into my rental time. I was also supposed to have furniture pads in the truck, but they were not in there. Just more time I spent waiting for something that should have been prepped. The staff was friendly to be sure, but it seems like very little care was dedicated to the U-Haul aspect of their operation.

The pick up time was 11:00am but there was no one in the office till about 1150am and I still got charged the 6 hours. On to of that I wasted 45min waiting for someone to show up.

I was charged $25 and I feel cheated for that. I returned the van in 4-5 hours though I intended to use for 12 hours and the reason was that I didn't use it for bas health at last minute. I wonder why I was charged for cleaning when it was the way it was. If you do intend to make money out of it, better disclose that upfront!!

Even having checked-in in advance it took me almost 1h to get the vehicle. There was only 1 employee taking care of everything and I had to provide same info that I have provided online.

the reservation must to be in time. By confusion I fill the gas to full and expected to some refund (let receip for 46 dollars) I hope understanding consideration. I like the pricing compare to others companies. Please let me know to used again. Thanks.

Carlos, Daniel, Lisa, and Rudy (Area Field Mgr) are solid people who run a strong business with excellent service. Their facility is maintained well and their service is on point. If you have to choose between this location and the other ones nearby I assure you that you'll be happy you chose this spot (StorageBlue/Uhaul) over the others.

Worst customer service and poor representation of the company. These people were nothing but rude and argued with myself and other customers throughout the entire process. Not one of them approached me for 20 minutes and once I finally went through renting the vehicle, the truck was blocked in. They did not seem to care and when I finally brought it up again to the lady after waiting when they said that they will clear it, she gave me attitude and told me that it has not been that long. If you are in need of renting a truck, I would highly encourage you to drive 10 minutes down the road to the next truck rental as this experience turned me off from the company forever.

I made online rezervation. I chose to drop the truck off at 10 pm. When i went there to pick the truck up, i was told that i have to keep the truck overnight because the office will be closed at 5.30 pm. So i had the truck over night, and i failed the bring it back on time. I was late 1 hour and now i am charged for 2 whole days for just 16 hours of rental.

Nothing was ever mentioned about adding insurance cost. I wasn't able to get my job done because of parking but I was literally around the corner from my pick up location. A half mile away! I noticed where the gas was marked off and what I saw was different and tried to call to tell the office. The needle was in the same place as when I started. I went around the corner from my house in Weehaken to drop off a carseat and my total mileage was under 3 miles. How could I have used $4.50 worth of gas. I was going to get the van again today but I I go back and forth with my car, that will be less than the $45.00 I wasted yesterday.

Open on time. This means showing up for work before operating hours and having your system up and running by opening time. That is how normal businesses are run. Other than that, everyone was very polite and everything ran pretty smoothly.

They were very pleasant. However, they did not have rubber grommets that keep the chain of the trailer linked together. That could be a dangerous flaw. They did check how I attached it, but only after I asked.

We ordered a furniture dolly and furniture pads but when we showed up to pick up our truck, there were no dollies or pads left available, so we had to drive to a 2nd UHaul location to pick up those items. I wouldn't recommend this location for that reason.

Van was not available when I arrived at the scheduled time. Had to wait 30 minutes and finally was given a 10-foot truck. No accommodation was made. Overcharged $30 from the original quoted price.

Terrible service, rude on arrival, vehicle not clean, on return they attempted to charge a $30 refueling fee when the vehicle was returned with the correct amount of fuel. I was forced to go back to the gas station to add $2 of fuel of fuel to avoid the charge, ridiculous waste of my time.

Look, if you're going to insist that we purchase YOUR U-HAUL insurance in order to be able to rent––even if we have our own insurance that covers the same things you want covered––then the advertised rental rate of $19.95/day is a LIE. It's $31/day plus miles. Sorry U-Haul, that's a ripoff. It's really rapey of you.

The van had a broken turn signal (left), which did not bother me. What bothered me was the lack of math skills. I returned with 1/4 tank (as it was when given to me). The attendant claims the 1/4 mark is an 1/8. The 2017 vans only comes with 1/4 marks ( same van I use as a Verizon Tech). I stated if the line was an 1/8, why are there only 4 lines on the entire gauge. He still didnt understand the math. Needless to say I was forces to buy $10 of gas and spend 20min extra traveling which added 1mi. Money didn't matter, but this is basic math for 5th graders.
