Clean the cargo. Fill the tank. Was at a quarter when I received it. Felt like I was going to die. Wheel shakes. Low tire. Definitely wasn't cleaned after last family. Lost of dirt and germs by driverjasmine C.

The absolute worst possible customer service experience I have had ever. The movers that I ordered with this truck from uhaul mind you did not show up, causing me to have a truck rented for new reason. Now uhaul won't even refund me the truck that I didn't get to use because of no movers. On top of that, I was overcharged for the truck. Not only will I never use igual again, but test assured all of the Sailors that I work with and come in contact with will be advised to also never use uhaul. Uhaul is not military friendly and on top of that has absolute horrible customer service all the way around.BRIAN S.

You over charged me for what? I returned the truck with the gas as required, in the exact same condition it was received in and before the check in time and you've added more charges to my credit card. Now I'm sitting on hold for an hour over $15? With no explanation either? I expect my money to be returned or I will dispute the entire thing with my bank. This is rediculousJennifer R.

The truck key kept sticking in the ignition which made starting the truck up and taking the key back out interesting. When you open the truck door the cab smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. I had a little bit of a wheezing issue since I am an asthmatic. Since the job wasn't going to take long to do with the truck I just stuck it out. Also, if you didn't slam the doors to the cab the door ajar light would come on.Melissa A.

I was not informed at the location that if I needed extra days it would be $54 per day due to a $14 dollar fee per day for insurance plus the $40 fee. Nor was I told I would get a citation for the tunnel. For a 7 day rental I was charged close to $600 dollars and customer service was very rude, calling me Darling continuously like I am a fool. I have rented from u haul for many years, never again! All of The above was discussed extra days and if the height would fit through tunnel., The lady was not who upcharged my extra days, dustomer service did. I explained it was taking me longer to move because I am in heart failure and had limited help that is why I needed the extra days. So disappointed in the Uhaul company which advertises for reasonable rates.Joy M.

I realize I am doing this review late, but I just now cleaned out my emails and saw this link to review my experience. I was told over the phone that if I rent the vehicle and use it for over 100 miles, then it would be a flat rate plus $0.39 a mile. Unfortunately I did not think of verifying that when I picked up the vehicle. The lady was very nice and helpful and I got my vehicle quickly. Great customer service on that. When I went to return the vehicle, I was told that it would not be flat rate and $0.39 a mile, even though I had done over 100 miles, because I had to drop off the vehicle at a different location for that to take affect. I did not notice unfortunately until after I had paid. I made some mistakes on my part, I should've been more attentive to my receipt before just trusting that I wasn't lied to and paying. Then when I realized and mentioned it, the person at the desk said there was nothing they could do. I tried calling U-Haul 1800 number and had a bad experience with the lady on the phone, she did not seem like she wanted to help and instead it seemed like I was wasting her time. I think I ended up paying about $100 more than I thought I would and that I budgeted for, and it may not seem like a lot but when you buy a new home every penny counts.Kristen W.

The return process for after-hours drop off is HORRIBLE. The link we were sent kept coming up as either 'expired' or as an 'error', we then sat on hold for anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes listening to a recording finally we just gave up and turned in the key.Eulynda M.
