I reserved a 20 ft truck with dolly and blankets was confirmed they would be there. No blankets no dolly and was given a 15 ft truck and charged for a 20 ft truck. Had to rent trailer as well because of short truck. Totally a rip offDennis F.

Scheduled to pick up truck at 8:00 am. No one was there that knew how to check out the truck. Employee coming in at 9:00 might know how. Finally called home office and got some body to help. Open it up and 65 blankets were thrown in there which were not ordered.Bernadette H.

Your representative didn't know anything and wouldn't help with anything. I had to take off and park the trailer and the truck. He counted the blankets and took a pic of the gas and mileage but told me I had to wait on an email before I could have proof that I returned everything properly. He said he might be able to send the invoice but it would probably be in the morning when the other man showed up to work. I didn't get it for three days. The whole gas station is crappy. I couldn't even tell if the gas pumps worked when I refilled the truck. The pumps ares so old you. Any see the price or the gallons. Had to go in to get a receipt. The store is disgusting, dirty, dusty. There were at least three toy motorized kid-sized vehicles for sale that had a layer of dust on them blocking every aisle. Serious trip hazard and not sure a wheelchair would even fit. Definitely not ADA compliant. I told your representative that the driver side door lock won't work and the brakes started making a noise mid trip. It took at least 5 sentences and me trying to recreate the noise to make him understand what I meant by â€œthe brakes started making noisesâ€ and that I didn't cause it.Joanna S.

I was told I would only be charged $20.00 for returning the UHaul late and I was charged for a whole day at $39.95. I also opted out of the $28.00 SafeMove coverage but was charged the fee for some reason. I would like a refund or $19.95 extra I was charged for turning the rental in the next day and the $28.00 SafeMove fee that I opted out of.Christopher S.

I was instructed to go to Bubba Greens and I did, only to find out - they had no record of me. Bubba called and they said we were suppose to go to another place. We arrived and were greeted with a nice young lady, but she wasn't familiar with the process. They weren't sure everything was there?, the finally figured out they had the truck and trailer but no appliance dolly. They had no idea had to back the truck up to the trailer, so I did this.......then they didn't know how to hook the trailer up. They ended up asking a â€œcustomerâ€. I wasn't feeling confident with the way they handled stuff, so when I left, I went back by Bubbas. I wanted them to check the hookup. They did and it was all done wrong. He said, â€œthe first time I might make a sharp left turn, the chain would snap and there would be an accidentâ€. Bubbas employee re hooked the trailer up to the truck and got the vehicle on the trailer. Also, the air conditioning went off and on during the whole trip. Needless to say, I don't believe I'll utilize uhaul services again, and will have nothing nice to say.Patti P.

The location is a truck stop/ convenience store and there was only one clerk on. The place was busy and the poor guy was overwhelmed trying to deal with rentals, fuel and food service. There needs to be someone else there to take care of the rental side, instead of just one person trying to cover multiple jobs.Lesly P.

Not answering the 2 preceding questions either positive or negative. The vehicle I picked up had only been returned shortly before I picked it up and the establishment had no time to give it a proper cleaning Not their fault as I was in a rather hurry So the vehicle had the odor of smoke this does not bother me. There is no way to get a 6x12 trailer onto a vehicle without a jack. It took me an hour to get this trailer loaded. Getting it off the trailer was a little faster but only because I knew to bring a jack with me. Not exactly self service. :-(Devin C.

This location is in a gas station/truck stop. Only the manager apparently is able to rent or check in Uhaul vehicles and trailers, and good luck catching him in the store. The workers are friendly and courteous, but cannot help you get the equipment you need. When I dropped off the trailer I ended up renting, as opposed to the truck I originally opted for, because the worker couldn't check in/out equipment, he had to take a picture to send to his manager, and I didn't get confirmation that the trailer was checked in until two days later, with extra charges, which I expected, as I dropped off late due to other factors (being a day behind due to a system change I mention below) and at a different location than originally planned, but I didn't expect it to be triple of what I originally paid. Because I was day behind (see below), I had to rearrange moving plans and trash disposal plans which caused delays. The following is a complaint against Uhaul, not Texarkana Travel Stop. I can NOT recommend using the Uhaul website or mobile app. I reserved a truck via the website, called my local Uhaul location to confirm I could pick the truck on a Sunday when he's closed, and was assured it is no problem with the key box and code through the app. When I opened the app to learn how to get the key, I was directed to pick up the truck 40 minutes away. The truck I wanted was on the lot at the local location, and the email confirmation stated the location I chose, but the Uhaul system decided I needed to rearrange my entire day and all the help I had coming over to load so that I could waste 2 hours to go get a truck. When I arrived at the new location, I was told the manager had left and I couldn't get the truck, or a trailer because only the manager can do that. So I wasted an entire day not being able to get what I needed done because the system changed my order. Overall, I know I won't use the online portion of Uhaul anymore, and I'm not sure I'll use Uhaul again after this experience.jim S.

Not the location I requested, No notification I would need to pickup at alternate location. While I was treated nicely, the alternate location was very slow, no assistance connecting the trailer, or verifying lights or proper hook up. Fortunately I pull frequently and this was not an issue, but it might be for someone inexperienced. This location is little more than a convenience store. Nothing inside to indicate Uhaul association, just a few trailers in the back.JASON C.

The cashier, Tony, was extremely helpful and friendly. We experienced a problem with our reservation and he tried to do everything in his power to fix the issue. After about a hour of different attempt at getting us into the truck, we call customer service and spoke with Amaryllis, she informed us that the computer system was down and everyone was have the same issues. Amaryllis was very professional and was able to complete our rental. She also approved an additional 20 miles for the inconvenience of having waited approximately 1 hour 15 minutes after our pick up time before receiving our truck. I would still recommend this location however because of the customer service that we received.Jarrett T.
