Make sure you call the store to make sure equipment is available before booking, also make sure you booked the right kind of trip so you know if you have to drop it off at same location or if somewhere else is allowed.

Worst uhaul experience I’ve ever had. After paying, checking in, and being told to get my key, the employee would not release the key without calling her boss who never answered the phone. 45 minutes and a phone call to uhaul and the boss never answering I finally got my key. I then missed my small window of being able to use the service elevator at my complex. I will never recommend this to anyone and uhaul did nothing while I was on the phone other than tell me there were not any other trucks in the area.

Stephen SheppardWhen I arrived to turn the truck in the U-Haul and the combo gas station had no gasoline. I had to drive several miles to fill up the tank and then return to leave the truck. Just inconvenient and time consuming.

Place of business hadn’t the first clue as to how to write up the order, didn’t wanna see my reservation number I had and gave me no paperwork or receipt whatsoever when I paid and left! Very unsatisfactory behavior and overcharged by 55.00!

Becky SchallIt's a gas station, the only employee on duty did not know how to accept uhaul return. Had to wait for person to come in for next shift. She did know what to do and took care of the return. My son in law had the same issue the next morning at his 8:00 am return time, only the person that knew how to do it did not come in till 2:00 pm, so my son in law got a call from uhaul stating he did not return on time.

Darrell Dunckel(1) Don't change pickup locations at the last minute. This location was 28 miles from the one I chose, and the Lyft ride cost about $30. (2) Have all the equipment I reserved present in the truck at pickup. I had to go to another Uhaul location to get furniture pads and a furniture dolly, and they didn't have a furniture dolly, so I wound up using a skateboard. Thanks for that.

Joey LaMacchioI paid and confirmed my booking a day in advance. They rented my Uhaul to someone else an hour-and-a-half before I got there and I had to either drive 40 min to get another 15' truck or settle for a 10' one, which was barely big enough for my belongings and did not have the furniture pads I ordered and was billed for (twice, since they obviously weren't there when I returned the Uhaul either).
Jonathan SpratlingI was scheduled to pick up at 809 North Broad Street Monroe, Ga at 4 pm on Thursday. When I went to pick it up the guy had rented it out for the day a to be returned by 4 but at 5:30 it had not been returned so I requested he call U-Haul. It was then I was sent to Mount Vernon to pick up the truck which was 8 miles away.No problem with U-Haul but the guy at 809 N.Broad is a disgrace to U-Haul. He is rude and acted like it was my problem not his.
Lloyd SmithImprove the transaction time and ensure data entry is correct. I spent in excess of two hours with the pick up and return process, only to be over-charged by 100 miles.
john hendersonFor the store, have your associates trained on how to handle Uhaul pickups and returns. For the uhaul company, be better at changing reservations. Don’t call me 15 minutes prior to my scheduled pick up to tell me you’ve changed my reservation to another location. You should know this info earlier than 15 min prior to scheduled pick up time.
