All in all the location was decent and friendly just wasn't pleased with my overall experience through uhaul. I made a reservation at a different location then arrived and the trailer i reserved wasn't even there so got sent to tios to pickup what he had then to find out it wasn't available for a 2 day rental only a 3 day rental. So then called the main Manteca location to find a trailer and they were having a problem locating one so got tired of wasting the day and decided to just go back to tios and was forced to pay for a 3 days rental. Then the day my trailer was due back i was running 10min late so called to ask if I would be charged for a full extra day and was informed I would be. So long story short I ended up paying for 4 days of rental when only originally needed 2day rental. Very unsatisfied with my experience cause it ended up costing just as much or possibly even more then just getting a full size moving truck.TERRY M.

Horrible. My truck wasn't there at all and the employee had zero sympathy and didn't make any effort to fix their flaws. He lied that a dolly was in the truck, when I said it was not in the truck, he charged me for 2 dollys instead of 1 that never existed. Just complete lack of customer service.MICHAEL M.

Dropping off a trailer is difficult due to lack of space, however, help was there quickly to unhook and park the trailer for me. The office is clean and the woman who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. Just a tough spot to get in and out of due to traffic and all the cars on the lot.Sharlene P.

I had a schedule pickup for 12:15pm. I arrived at the location at 12:10pm and no one was there to help me. The office was closed but the sign said open. I waited and waited and wait. The gentleman finally arrived at about 12:48pm. I waited almost 40 minutes before getting help. This place shouldn't have appointment times if you aren't there to help the customer. Have 24 hour drop off of equipment, I wound up keeping custody of rented equipment for an additional 36 hours that I did not need it. Because there was no place to drop it off. Otherwise the rental was quick and easy.Edward C.
Hard to get into and out of. When renting equipment he couldn't find our reservation, then changed information from my husband's name to mine which made situation worse. I was on my husband's reservations as the person picking up equipment and he was told his credit card would be charged when I picked up. Not the case. It took over an hour to find a solution to problem even after we gave him our reservation number several times. Drop off was better but still had issues when getting information together. Overall I would not recommend this location to someone looking to rent equipmentLISA V.
Very tiny used car lot with primarily gravel rather than pavement. Unprofessional office. Very cramped location with all the used cars for sale. I had to help them move a trailer so I could get my rental off the lot.Thomas E.

main thing is fill the gas tank full before customer receive it, not a quarter tank, had to fuel up 3 times, once to make it their, it is not easy to replace the gas to quarter, I was close but the man told me put more in, what a hassle. do not use this location.Kerry C.
The trailer was not connected correctly. I am lucky I did not lose the trailer. When I got to Idaho my brother showed me that the tongue had not been tightened down on the hitch. That is why I was experiencing jerking and bouncing, especially when I was slowing down or stopping.Paula C.

The personnel was not there when I arrive called the phone number that was left and was told he would be there in 10 minutes he got there exactly in 10 minutes and three seconds I was very impressed he was very helpful and understanding and I felt very comfortable with him on Person, He's a guy so I'm going to overlook his phone etiquette.

The vehicle was dirty, and the warning light was on indicating low tire pressure; I brought this to the employee's attention and he said the sensor must be broken and to not worry about it. He was not willing to correct the issue. Additionally, my return time was 2:00 pm on a Sunday- when I went to drop the truck off on Sunday, the facility was locked up with a chain, and I was forced to drop off at another location which made the charge on my credit card more than double. Truck bed was not swept out. Gas was only 1/4 full. I was charged extra miles for the trip that was scheduled (this is very irritating). When I call customer service, I just get put on hold. The movers broke a pendant light and I just get the hold option at customer service...Matthew M.

The truck was clean, but it was so hard to drive I almost ran off the road a few times. Worse when the truck was loaded. This is my second very bad experience with uHaul and probably will never use you again. The guy where I picked it up was awesome, very kind and helpful. This pickup location was fine. However, I had a huge problem with call center. They did not informed me in advance for change of pick up location and they did not even have the equipment I reserved (6x12 trailer). I had to drive around to go three different places to get just half size trailer (5x8). This was the worst experience since I've been using U-Haul for more than 25 years. tios auto sales was awsome uhauls software deciding if your truck can tow something or not is complete crap...seriously tried to get the car trailer and it refused our truck...dodge full size 4x4 xtra cab short bed. if uhaul thinks it cant tow that trailer (dual axle to boot) with a car on it is crap. fix your system.arthur M.

Uhaul is dirty on the exterior, buisness was closed when i went to drop uhaul off with 5 clients waiting outside i personally waited over an hour, got tiered of waiting and left uhaul there with keyes under driver seat and left. Not a well business to use as a sub.Oscar G.

Was exited at first being able to book a rental online. But the email sent a couple of days before stated that I would be picking up from another location then what I had requested. I called and was transferred three times. I settled for a closer location (all had to do availability of the size of the truck) booked it for 9.30am. Arrived the following morning at 9.30 to see gates locked, the property didn't open till 11am as per the car sales lot web site. Did not have the mattress bags I had paid for and was told to drive to another location where I was told I didn't purchase originally from there..but the associate saw my frustration and kindly gave me one and would bill the other location. I made my complaint and will be credited some of my paymemt but I will not recomend or use uhaul again.Anita O.
