To start I found this location online that had a van available. They agreed to rent it with a 9a.m. due back time. My card did not work and they did not accept Google pay and did not attempt to mention reservations and online payment until my wife called to ask. We made the reservation and agreed to have it back by 9a.m. we assumed the paperwork would match what we were being told only to find out after receiving a second day charge of 91.98 that it in fact needed to be returned by the unreasonable time of 3:45 a.m. I will be contacting BBB about this scam by uhaul.JAMESHOWARD B.

Dan at the McGaheysville location has been fantastic! The rest of Uhaul has been worse than horrible. The owner of the Harrisonburg location should have her franchise license revoked. She cancelled our reservation 10 hours before we were to pick the vehicle up. Customer Service quoted different pricing than we received, hold times were longer than 30 minutes with one call taking an 90 minutes to complete. No one in customer service is empowered to solve a problem, only take notes and submit to "area field manager". Follow up has to be initiated by the customer.Sean W.

It was an older trailer. The decals on the side were fading and there were some small holes in the sides. It did not rain during the trip so nothing got wet.Zachary N.

I never used the van. I was told that I would be charged $19.95 if I didn't use the van, I don't have a problem with that, as we didn't need to use it after all. I was charged $35 and I never used it. I'm not sure why I was charged $35 instead of $19.95. I would appreciate it if I was credited the difference back to my credit card. The man who set up the van was very helpful and gave excellent customer service.Diana Y.

I requested in store rental at 9:00am since that is when Trailblazer auto. I got there at 9:00am, the open sign was on and there was a sign that said be back in 30 minutes. I stood there in th 80+ degree sun for 30 minutes. Which in turn made me 30 minutes late for everything I had to do that say. The man that ran the place was unapologetic and rude.Anna B.

The location I picked up from was very helpful. However, uhaul was not. I was originally given a location that was not even open when I arrived for pick-up. After almost an hour on the phone with uhaul, I was sent to another location 15 miles further. Thankfully this location had a uhaul truck, but they did not have any blankets which I had originally ordered 1.5 months in advance. Uhaul refunded me some money but did not account for the fact that I was now driving 15 miles instead of 1 due to their error in assigning a closed location. I ended up still paying by the mile, buying my own furniture blankets elsewhere, and pushing my move back by over 2 hours.jessie U.
