Filling out the online application to get the vehicle, the end had a place for more proof of identification. One was a passport that I think few people carry in fact I had non of the other. This then forced me to call. The person on line was great but one still had to call to complete the sale. This was even after I talked to someone at corporate reservations days before and gave them all the information plus credit card number. Had to repeat the information. Really no big deal but it defeated the purpose of doing it just online. This could be just me tho because it was extremely cold outside and I couldn't get my location on (thought it was) and also couldn't get my phone to take the picture of the bar code for that location verification. Murphy law had set in and I hate being cold. Lol. I did have my plans changed so I had to call numerous times to change vehicles and time pickups and everyone was fantastic. Especially the last person before my pickup. She kept looking for a vehicle with the intensity to truly help me. I believe she was located in Madison. So thank you.Roger H.
There were 2 reservations for the same truck. When it was finally figured out a half hour had passed and I now could only have the truck for 3 1/2 hrs but I had needed for 4 hrsPatti H.
The side mirror was broken on the phone and I could not see the right hand lane I had to have my wife change lanes in the car behind me before I could change lanes she had a hawk is a terrible way to drive very dangerous first day only made it two hours waited 15 hours on the side of the road for your people to come and fix the mirror as well as the truck carrier lost two full days and travel $500 in motel bills not to mention the stress of it all we couldn't even get you guys to answer the phone you need to do a better job as of now I have still not had my bills taken away on this trip you should've come to truck for me as well as the truck carrier for the trouble you put me through you got a lot of nerve treating a customer like that leaving me out on the side of the road the state police finally even came they were so disgusted with you and that one of you pick up the phone to call and say I'm sorry in fact we will try to make it my fault well buyer beware was your attitude when the mechanic came he said whoever put that mirror on torch it down so high it couldn't be moved he had to take it apart to fix it I could've been a terrible wreck because of that if it wasn't for my experience and drive your truck it would be to make it 2 1/2 hours to Notre DameDonald M.

The entire online check in and out system was useless. Fortunately there was an agent on site and I was there during business hours. The web site choked when it was time to upload photos. Had to resubmit and sign in multiple times. And finally it failed. System sucked! And I haul changed pick up locations from a very convenient site to one 5 miles further away my intended direction. Phone help was impossible with a 79 minute wait time. Overall this was a lousy experience.Theodore J.

The only issue I had, refers to being charged an extra $34.85, when I I turned the rental truck in at 1900 W . Douglas Montgomery, IL the same day at 8:00 pm. My card should not have been placed on hold for extra charges, when I've paid everything upfront in the beginning. I am not satisfied with the extra caharges to my card.Kiana S.

I was supposed to pick up the truck I rented from the Forrest Hills location. The person that was at that location was was very rude and yelled that me. Claiming that I was sant an email and a text message that I didn't get until after I picked up the truck on North Main. This cost me more money seeking I had to get another Lift ride to the North Main location and was farther away from my home costing me more money in mileage fees. I think the ASSHAT running the Forest Hills location is very unprofessional. I have rented from the location many time in the past. Including the rent of a 6X12 open trailer from May 11to the 18. On the 18th when I returned the open trailer I was told that the truck would be ready for Saturday at the Forest Hills location. The lady at the North Main location was very nice and professional. I won't rent an other truck from UHaul over this. And if I do it won't be from the Forest Hills location.Scott K.

This van rode very nice. Very comfortable on a 1,000 mile round trip. Pick up and drop off was very easy. But would have been nice if they went over some features on the van before we drove away. Van was dirty outside and in. Had to vacuum the seats before we started our trip. Radio didn't work.David B.

Don't park the truck hidden in the back, backwards, so that it has to be turned around before driving away.John S.

The truck was clean but road very rough. My dad drove a semi for years and had never had one ride this rough. I have rented several U-Haul trucks and have never encountered this problem in the past. He drove it over 200 miles . I felt really bad for him when I took it to the drop off location (10 min. drive) and realized how rough it was. Other than that the overall experience was good.Rose Q.
