The truck smelled like marijuana. Which I do not think is the fault of the location, so I hope that does not reflect on them. The location itself was very communicative, the truck was staged, exactly like how the person who called me today prior told me. The office staff and people there were very good. The main concern was the pick up, which I think is the U-Haul application on mobile devices to be blamed. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 6:15 AM, the app was not accepting my pictures, causing me to be completely delayed in my pick up, late for work, and even being late for an entire day and having to use another day for my rental. The app was very stressful, and I highly recommend that nobody use it.

HECTOR PWe filled up the u haul to the specified amount of gas but still got charged. Very dissatisfied and won't be using this service/location again.
Cooper BTrailers need to be available at more locations. So many calls, texts and emails are sent during the rental it is mind boggling, distracting and unnecessary.

Albert JVehicle had over 191,000 miles and was in a sorry state. Windshield washer INOP, battery nearly dead, resulting in hard starts. Averaged less than 7mpg and only hauled a plywood layout for 10 of 43 miles driven. Otherwise empty. Didn’t even engage tow/haul mode. Perhaps I was spoiled - I rented the same size Penske (actually it was bigger because the length included the entire box, not a “Mom’s Attic) the prior week and it was a far superior experience. I am a long time U-haul customer but won’t be returning any time soon. Time you upped your game.

Philip BJulie was great and helped so much to get me going. One thing is if you want a electronic picture of a license you should accept a stored electronic file so there is no need for a picture by phone and also you need more trailer locations for the west area of Gainesville.

The individual that helped me was eating and drinking first thing in the morning and not paying attention to your customer, he could care less that I was there. Thank you

HARIJS Sthe auto trailer that was rented was loaded at location and hitch attached to the truck by a uhaul employee and while traveling we found that the straps had come undone from the loaded vehicle. thankfully no damage to my vehicle but it could've been very bad if my vehicle came off the trailer.

MARC BEverytime I needed a vehicle for any random things that need to be moved, U haul has it..
LIEUTENANT ATrailer side markers on one side did not work due to wiring being damaged. Could see it hanging in front of fender. One tire was down to wear bars but I was not loading it heavy so decided it should hold up. Had dings and dents but they did not effect function.

STEPHEN CI made a concerted effort to return the truck before they closed. I refueled and got there a couple minutes before 7. I pulled through the equipment return area and the store was dark and no one came to the window. So I pulled into a space. As I was coming back to drop off the keys and contract, I saw people inside the store, a middle aged white woman and a younger Black guy. He gestured toward the uhaul and towards somewhere else. I gestured like “can you open the door” and also pointed to my ear cause I couldn’t hear what he was saying and just would like to hear what he was saying. I didn’t know where he was pointing, just that I needed to move the truck. So I go to the truck and am once again confused where to take it so I walk back toward the store and the woman has opened the door like she’s leaving and she says “just park it there” and I’m like “where?, facing which direction?” So that was frustrating. They acted like the store was closed and then wouldn’t even tell me explicitly what to do. The gentleman was the most aggravating, I couldn’t tell what all his pointing meant and he wouldn’t use his words. I will say I left a key on my key ring and came the next day and they were courteous inside. But the Tuesday night experience was “not it.”
