Original pickup location changed by uhaul even though scheduled ahead of time. Went to new location, they were overbooked for our truck. Called traffic â€¦. No solution. Only thing that saved uhaul was someone brought truck back early. Traffic canceled reservation prior to us getting a truck. Even though I had a planned moveâ€¦ it seemed like the uhaul attitude was oh well, sorry and it's traffics problem who cancelled the reservation per the uhaul location. A logistic nightmare for your customers. You need some prechecks to make sure your customers are covered and you won't get as many poor reviews. I won't be back.Richard O.

Ignition needs to be repaired or replaced, was extremely difficult to turn the key to start engine. Key drop off was difficult to locate after hours, there should be a light on somewhere so you can see when it's dark. The entire lot was put h black, which is also not safe.Kim S.

Make sure your company that are dealing with the u haul leave the keys when you are using 24/7 share to pick up. It took talking to 2 different people from u haul to get a truck at different location. Then the place wanted to charge more cause I had to get bigger truck when it wasn't my fault they didn't have my first choice available for pickupRhonda D.

In this age of computers and automated inventory, it is poor customer service to bait and switch. If the truck is not available, don't book it. If the truck is not at the agreed upon location, U- Haul should get it there. I realize it's difficult to find employees these days (I oversee about 350), but surely you can find a phone reservation employee who is willing to simply say, â€œI'm sorry for your disappointment with U-Haulâ€ â€œI'm sorry for your inconvenience in picking up your truck in another cityâ€ rather than saying â€œSir, you checked a box agreeing that we might not hold up our end of the reservation agreementâ€ and â€œWe have other people who want this truck, do you want it or not?â€Warren L.

My only complaint is it is very difficult to communicate with the location. When you call the number, it transfers to the 800# which is typically unable to help with your call. You should be able to contact the location directly and only speak to the direct location.Ecoview A. | Overall Experience

This location has been extremely helpful as well as the phone assistance lines to schedule installations and change equipment and rental schedules. The UHaul online reservation was a total failure. I reserved for early morning automated pickup and received confirmation of that. The morning of the pickup it was changed to in person, costing me 2 hours of my day. Unacceptable Customer service.Donald H.
I rented a 20' truck and when I got in it to leave the truck reeked of pot so strong!! I told the man that worked there that it smelled like pot and he said "that's why I rolled the window down before you got in". That is not acceptable for what I had to pay to rent it.Sabrina S.
There was no key drop off box so I spent half an hour looking for one and then waiting to talk to customer service. The lady on the phone finally led me to these small padlock boxes but they wouldn't open despite me trying four of them (she was giving me the pass codes). So in the end she had me take the keys back home with me to deliver tomorrow. Facilities great, staff was wonderful, but I wish the key return policy had been mentioned more in detail because it took way longer than it should have, for me to be told I would have to hand deliver them the next day. Additionally the locks on the key lock boxes (which I had to call to learn about) wouldn't open, so if nothing else they need to get keys that are not as difficult to use.chloe S.

Renting a truck here was no issue. Being told a storage space was available at the time the reservation was made and later finding out that, not only was the unit no longer available, there was no way of knowing when one would be ready threw a massive wrench in our moving day. Why allow reservations to be made and ask for a date that a unit would be needed if there are no units available? Office hours were convenient, but not always staffed to help. 3-4 guys in bay area while customers waited in store for help. Or, 2-3 guys helping with rental jobs, but no one manning the store. However, I know help is hard to come by, but when you have 3-4 guys in the garage or 3guys helping with a rental truck while regular paying customers are sitting inside waiting for help, it gets annoying. However, guys were always helpful and pleasant when you finally got service. I just want to go back in time when ppl who paid monthly for services got customer service within a reasonable time (is 15 mins too much to ask when 3-4 ppl are with someone else, and you're left standing with no help?marilee d. | Overall Experience

The only problem I had was there was a couple of weeks when I couldn’t get in because I thought I’d lost my key and I couldn’t find what I needed to unlock my lock. First, they gave me a unit that already had someone elses belongings inside and then issued me a new storage space. THAT space was empty, but they forgot to add that to my account so they locked my box up. Had to chat with them about that issue for nearly a half hour trying to get THAT squared away. Then the truck I rented to haul my toolbox had a door that kept popping open, and if it wasnt for a friendly driver on the road, I could have spilled everything out that wasnt tied down and/or killed someone. Truck had a cracked windscreen. Not a biggie, but I had to explain it away after the fact. After that, they neglected to close my account when I returned the vehicle as the unit was now empty. The overhead door/garage door was bent and off the track at the bottom. It got to the point that I could not open it all the way up, nor could I close it. I complained and a member of the staff worked on it and got it closed. I returned several days later and the door was still bent and water was dripping down on my quilting machine. Your staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Our house was impacted by tornado last year in Mt Juliet TN. This location gave us a month free up front. Our repairs.took much longer than anticipated. Upon arrival, unit had not been swept out and dead roaches were present. Staff did let me borrow a broom to sweep out. During our near 2 month stay, we caught one roach, which is not bad at all, but also caught one mouse, which I'm glad the wife didn't see.
