kapil cI am beyond furious right now. Your company explicitly told me to drop off my rental vehicle at a specific location ((200 Springhead Gardens, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 5C8))) , but when I arrived, the shop owner completely refused to accept it! How do you sell a franchise to someone who flat-out refuses to do their job and follow your company’s own directives? I did exactly what I was instructed to do, and instead of a seamless drop-off, I was stranded, turned away, and forced to deal with a hostile owner. This is completely unacceptable and an absolute joke of customer service. If your locations won't honor your drop-off agreements, stop selling them franchises. I expect someone from corporate to contact me immediately to resolve this mess. I am totally unsatisfied with this entire experience and will never use your services again unless this is made right. Luckily this [[ Pioneer Gas Station 12717 Woodbine Ave Stouffville, ON L4A2G6 ]] location was awesome. He answered my call was willing to help me return the vehicle. Awesome person.

I have rented from this location many times, but this is the first time I have received such poor service." This is a safety issue—vehicles need to be properly maintained. Although I am a frequent renter at this location, this is the first time I have experienced service this bad." Option 3: Slightly Less Formal (Still grammatically correct) "The truck was shaking when I pressed the brakes. I think the brake pads are completely worn, which is a major safety hazard. Vehicles here should be kept in good running condition. Mukund PI filled out everything online the night before and i still had to wait 30mins in line. I pulled out of the driveway and the check engine light came on and the maintanence needed light.
Albert WWhen picking up the truck, I would suggest, someone actually joins the guest driver and go through the whole procedure. This will have a value added service at the start of the rental.
Patil PVehicle's cab was dirty and smelly. Had muddy foot prints on the inside of the windshield. Had issues when changing gears. Vehicle should come with some sort of phone mount to secure phone when using GPS. I rent at this location ONLY because of convenience!!

Michelle MEverything was great, the staff was really good too me. I actually reserved a dolly and a furniture dolly but didn't receive either. They refunded me the money with no questions asked. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them 100%. Thank you U-Haul for everything.
Carole CI returned the equipment. The staff is in the seem to be distracted even though he saw me trying to confirm the drop off. Then midway walking to the office he called out to me for the equipment #. I then asked for the receipt & told me go to the office. It was a bit of a wait as another customer was getting a rental that was a lengthy ordeal. When I finally got to the desk the girl asked is any one checked the return before I could answer she printed off the receipt that was like 5 sec. Not sure why one couldn't be emailed to me just as when I booked it & save me the hassle of going back inside.

Gurjinder PI reserved a 15 ft. truck and had to pick it up by 4:30 as they closed at 5 as this was Sunday. The lineup was horrendous and we waited about 45 minutes or longer, and they were still coming in the door. One employee at one point shouted unless you have a reservation we are closing. Some people still stayed in line as there was not enough staff to handle it. When I got to the counter, I was told my 15 ft. truck was not available. They asked if I would take a 20 ft. but were going to charge me the higher rate. I said I had to take it, but I was not paying for their error. The boss said yes just charge the 15 Ft. rate. Once all the paperwork was done you are directed to go outside and someone would be there to help you look over your truck for any dents etc. We couldn't find anyone and there were other people in the same situation, and they hadn't given us the keys, so when we did find an employee who wasn't wearing anything to identify him as an employee, this was so stressful. When finally, we were at the truck you have to now have to scan stuff. All this has to be done on your phone by scanning pictures. I am a senior citizen and am pretty good on my phone, but I would have been lost had my daughter not been with me. Finally done but this is a large truck and there were so many trucks parked everywhere and unless I asked no one was moving. There didn't seem enough organization nor staff to handle. When we returned the truck, we were told the gas was not exactly at the same mark as when it was rented. He told us to go and get gas in the middle of rush hour but trying to drive into a gas station with a truck this size was impossible the area. He said they charge a refilling fee, and a $20 top up would be $58. After telling him about our horrendous pickup ordeal he did comp the gas. That was the only good thing about this experience. ALSO, THE OUTSIDE OF THE PLACE WAS SO DIRTY AND OVERFLOWING WITH GARBAGE AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE IT WAS A REAL TURNOFF. WE HAD TO KICK STUFF OUT OF THE WAY TO GET IN THE DOOR. I will never use this location again.

ricardo bMy experience at U-Haul was frustrating because the employee named tanya was unhelpful and disrespectful. Instead of assisting professionally, the interaction made the process unpleasant. Customer service should be respectful and supportive. The other girl with amber was nice and helpful
harpreet sI had rented a small 4' x 8 ' trailer and after waiting 45 minutes to be checked in, (your system went down 15 minutes before I finally got checked in!) I went out to hitch the trailer to my truck. There was no one to be found in the yard as I walked around for 15 minutes looking for someone. When I finally did find someone, and went to hook up the trailer, the person told me the trailer did not have a cable to connect it to the power supply in my bumper for the tail lights to work. He told me I would have to go by one. When I went inside, the person at the counter told me they found one and the other guy went to install it. Overall, it took over an hour and a half for a simple trailer rental. While I appreciate it was the end of the month, the Uhaul dealer should have had more staff given the large number of reservations they had, especially in the yard where customers were looking for assistance.
michel mTeam was excellent and they were doing things preety quick. But van was not maintained properly. Hand breaks were not good. Sound of vehicle was too high. Inside also it was noisy. Maintaince of vehicle was pending.
BASANT KI wouldn't prebook trucks out when another customer still has it, anything can happen in life like my situation where I had a truck full and a storage unit that doesn't open until 9am, I had to fill it mostly by myself instead of the help I was supposed to get so I wasn't able to clear the truck out into the storage unit before 1030 pm the previous night, I went for my 7am drop off time to pay for an extended day, it couldn't be done as the truck was booked to another customer, thankfully the lady did her best to extend the time until 11 but it was the most stressful experience to unload a truck in an hour and half from when the storage unit opened to being able to drive the truck back in time. Say there was an accident to happen to someone you'd have a customer waiting on a truck that they might not be able to have so maybe book trucks when they are on lots not out.

Ranjot sTruck ran great! But the app shut down several times when submitting photos/checkin-in/out. So I am not sure which entries successfully submitted. As well the previous renters left garbage and dirt in the cabin. But the sales team was awesome and very supportive despite how busy they were.

EVERALD H | Overall ExperienceThe facility itself was generally well-maintained, though the access door once took several days to fix. I did see a mouse inside once though never inside my unit. There were no floods or roof leaks, or mold/mildew, so that’s positive. The line waits could be a bit long though there were always at least two people at the desk. The staff were generally polite. The big issue is that many people are self-absorbed slobs. That’s not your fault, but it makes your facility less than desirable. People standing in the middle of the parking lot staring at their phones, trucks or even cars parked to block doorway access or even getting in and out of fhe parking lot, a mess all around the dumpster and assorted objects that can puncture tires strewn all around the parking lot. There needs to be a bit of a culture change where rules for conduct are clearly signed and enforced. You won’t go bankrupt or lose any customers that are worth keeping. Some will even show their appreciation. Thanks for listening.

My pickup location I wanted over 20 mins outside in the sun for rhe rep to open the door and assist no one was at the office. I called your customer and was given $50 off my renta and when I dropped off my renta they did not apply the $50 off but told to call customer because the rep did not put it on. The rep I think his name was Bryan...when he came in he looked half a sleep no apology made he just act like he did not care. I was very upset because I have some deadlines to meet and my while day went bad after due to getting the truco very late. The Dropbox off location was ok ....no problem

I always expect that things will take a long time when I go to this U-Haul. I cannot be in a hurry. I came today to change my storage unit from a big one to a smaller one. Before I could start to empty, I was told by an associate to go tell the cashier to sign me out of one storage unit first. So I lined up for 10 minutes just to find out by the cashier that I could have emptied my storage unit and filled the new one and then lined up to see the cashier to complete the transaction. Too much time wasted.

They don't show you the unit until after you pay which not good. steep stairs to go to units they need to make better access for people that can't go on stairs. I have used this location in the past for moves never really had too much issues but yesterday I was pretty disappointed.

Also my original locker was locked and they didn't know why. They had to give me another locker. Also didn't realize that i had to go up stairs to get into the storage unit. It took 5 hours to unload our truck because of this. I understand it says you may have to go up a few stairs but that's extremely misleading as this is an entire flight of stairs. Also had to step down into the location which made things even more difficult to move. Also not to mention I couldn't even get close to the door, we had to park off to the side and was not able to use the ramp. Extremely disappointed in this storage location. Will never rent storage at this particular uhual location again.

Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. My storage unit would have water in it every time the snow melted - there is a leak coming in from the right side of unit by door.
