We ordered a 15' truck several weeks in advance but days before pick-up we were told they only had a 20' available. We have reseerved a 10' truck for the end of August, hope there are no last minute substitutions.

Honestly, nothing. Everyone is super nice and helpful and honest about everything during the process and what each fee is for. I use them all the time over any other branch bc of the people there. Especially Cierra. Shes fantastic.

Gave us an old and unreliable van. The battery died both times we tried to start it after picking it up. Roadside assistance replaced the battery 7/18 right before we dropped it off. However, while stopping to fill up the gas tank it died at the WAWA. Someone had to jump start it to get it to even turn over. We also had 2 furniture dolly reserved with an 11:30am pick up. We couldn’t get the car until after 2:15pm and they didn’t have the furniture dollies. Not on part was done right on the company’s end. Im formally requesting a refund due to the plethora of issues caused by our car not being looked at by U-Haul employees prior to us picking up. The previous drivers left the lights on and the lights were still on which caused the battery to die. Due to the paperwork stating what condition our rental SHOULD HAVE been, I trusted a U-Haul employee did a 5 minute once over the van to make sure everything was good. I was wrong and it costed us.

They ended up giving me the wrong truck. Fortunately I noticed it didn’t match the contract. Lastly I should have rented from Home Depot. Never going a local trip again with U-Haul. $80 with gas for 26 miles and 2hrs.

Truck was good but had an exhaust rattle and check engine light. Not a problem though. Also, got the truck with just under 1/2 tank, returned it with 1/2 tank, but was still charged a 2 gallon fuel charge… but otherwise an excellent rental experience. Thank you.

I think advertising a truck for $29.95 for the day…. And having my bill be $196 for 4 hours is not fair or honest advertising. Be honest…. And when a truck is reserved for a specific pick up have the truck there ….. or don’t make the reservation Moving is stressful enough without wondering if you will really have a truck

SO worth going to a U-Haul location in Malvern. Local merchants with trucks in other local areas seemed complicated. Counter service took minutes & no wait - plenty of inventory. VERY nice staff!

I rented in advance a truck, hand truck, and furniture dolly. When I arrived, I was told that the hand truck and dolly weren’t available because someone had taken the keys home. I really needed those for my move. The truck I was given - the driver door wouldn’t close all the way.

It's a very tight location. The day I picked my trailer up the parking lot was full and other customers were parked sporadically across the small lot. Not easy to get out with the trailer. Staff was super helpful and they were working through the customers quickly and effectively.

van had some scratches on driver side which were marked with some black and white stickers with cross and circle on it. But staff didn't let me know that before hand. I noticed and took photo of those before use to avoid any confusion.

Limited customer parking. Unfortunately for me that ended up with another customer leaving their vehicle in the middle of the lot not in a marked parking area that left no room for a 20’ truck to pass by and resulted in a minor scrape to his vehicle. The fact that the steering wheel does not track straight was also an issue as I felt o was steering straight but drifted left

Facility was completely understaffed The two people that were there were great. There was a woman that helped me get the trailer hooked up which she was fantastic. There was one guy on the phone talking to somebody else on the phone and trying to make a reservation for somebody that should have been doing it online. Myself and another person were standing there while he was taking a reservation that should have been done online. He was was very polite and professional but again the place was well understaffed

Twice i attempted to move the items. Each time I see a u-haul truck parked in front of the storage. I couldn't open the storage after store hours. Someone need to come and move the truck to keep my items inside the storage

I was contacted day the rent was due for rent being late. I was also contacted as being past due after having paid rent. Finally, a week after moving out I was messaged saying that my rent is due, now with a late fee. I tried to ask for an explanation every time and was never responded to. Incredibly unprofessional. The unit was new and clean, but access was sometimes an issue because sometimes they park trucks right in front of the door and it's difficult to get inside. I rated Above Average because the staff at this location are helpful and friendly. That's not always the case!

We had to throw away more than 1/2 the contents in unit as smelled very musty and damp and many boxes ended up with ant nests in them - lost all the bedroom linens and towels for this reason. The back units butt against woods and so I think water and pests can enter unit. We incurred more than $500 of damages as a result.

The General Manager Zachary Thomas went over and above to help me decide to use his facility. He did everything in his power to get me storage units. I had dependencies on my U-Boxes delivery and the Moving help schedules. He was always opened to adjust my need. During the move, my U-Boxes were kept on the farther from my units. It was my mistake. When I arrived for the move, he changed the units close to the U-Boxes. Thank you Zach!

There was no keypad beside the unit as described in the app directions, so I had to walk all the way back to the office. The person behind the counter had very little interest in helping me, claiming “I only deal with truck rentals and the person in charge of storage units left an hour ago so you’ll have to come back tomorrow”. I had no interest in returning the next day. This was at 6pm when the app said the office is open until 7pm. He begrudgingly let me borrow scissors to cut the zip tie. It’s unfortunate that this person either dislikes his job or dislikes people, or both. But the in-person customer experience was not at all good.

Currently in dispute with Repwest regarding this unit. All of my items were water/mold/mildew damaged due to storm water entering the unit. Also, unit had a rodent problem. Dead mice, droppings, and tons of acorns/ food brought in. 3 couches (trashed), upright kawai piano moisture damaged (trashed),mid century desk water damaged (trashed), two full sized oriental rugs, mildewed and rodent damaged(trashed). Spent a lot of money storing items with value for resale, only to have it all damaged. Waste of time/money/and effort, all to be strung along by Repwest insurance. Issue is still not resolved.

Rates go up every year to help maintain and keep pests under control. Facility stayed the same, did not see any improvements over the past 3 years. Gate access never worked until recently, and is down again. Would use to transport, but not storage.

I was having a rough time personally and couldn't communicate my needs effectively. I can remember their names, but the woman and man that helped me were so kind. They asked me where I was moving to and showed me what my options were. I'm truly satisfied with their customer service. When I arrived to get my keys the customer service person was very rude and refused to help me stating there were no storage facilities left. I went out and asked my father to speak to him. He told him the same thing. After he explained several times we had a reservation the man went to get someone else to help us. The unit had some mildew and pieces of insulation hanging down. The most difficult part was closing out the contract, I got everything out one evening after hours and then couldn’t get in touch with the facility because they don’t answer the phone. It took 2 days of calls because when it passed through to the central number they told me I could only handle it with the local office, so I spent 2 days calling until someone finally answered.

We reserved a 10x10 unit and unfortunately when we arrived with all of our things we were storing, we were told there was no 10x10 units available. We were not notified of this prior to arriving with our Uhaul truck full of items we planned to store in a 10x10, and we had to make multiple trips to take things back that could not fit in the 5x10 unit we were given. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - so no issues at all with the service.

Storage unit was fine, but the commuication between the website and office does not exist. I spoke to two office staff two months in a row to put me on auto-billing --- I was charged later fees each time because they didn't do it. Then when I checked out, I used the website because clearly the office staff didn't follow-though. Guess what, my check out was not processed. I stopped into the office just to confirm, and he had to do it manually. Why waste my time.
