I watched the guy today handle multiple customers, a long line, and do it well. This was after I had of been one of his first customers almost got in a fight with them. The customer was completely unreasonable and your employee did a fine job. I'm sure people don't wait to post a negative review, after all, if you were in a U-Haul you're not really having a good day. So I thought I would take the time to post a positive review about your excellent employee, may have been the manager , at the Jefferson Avenue U-Haul in Salem. I've rented multiple times and every time it's a pleasure.Christian T.

We stayed in our truck in the drop off line for 10 minutes, two employees saw us and nobody thought to let us know we could just leave our keys in the car. Would've been nice for them to mention it before we had to ask.Mehdi K.
Excellent service Luis and Jayme were great. Efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They got me in and out of the office quickly. Move from Boston to another location in Boston was so easy. My wife had a great idea because she was so pleased with Jayne and Louis. We will rent from U-Haul and avoid high delivery fees all the time. Just bought sofa at Costco and had it delivered cost $1699. With U-Haul I could pick up the same sofa in Danvers Ma for $1299. $50 or so to U-Haul. and saved $350. The people in Salem are great. Very good experience. Had to move reservation out due to personal issues and was easy to do. Only negative was my email from mass registry if motor vehicles was not acceptable as proof my license was renewed so we had to wait for another person to get their license.Craig C.

I only like Bianca and Raul but not Anthony. Anthony is a manager but want to tell me that the guy that does the hitches come in around 8:30 am because he has 5 kids that he has to drop off at school. I do not give a FUCK Anthony, he signed up for the job and need to be there on timeMilissa W.
Just rented a van for one hour and drove 6 miles total. I was just charged to fill the tank, even though they said it was full when I rented. Manager wouldn't budge and blamed me. Bad customer service preying on the fact that most drivers are in a rush and want to get going. Very dishonest and arrogant manager.Susan S.

During pickup, the Manager was rude and seemed annoyed to be interacting with me. When I dropped off, the guy who helped me was nice but told me I was â€œall setâ€ once he got the trailer off the car. Turns out you need to do checkout on your phone - but I never got a text and no one told me that. I ended up having to call uhaul customer service because I never got a return confirmation and spend 30 minutes trying to get the return resolved on my account. They also charged a $5 â€œSafe Trip Feeâ€ (20% of the total rental fee) that was not on the original quote, after also charging insurance. Overall, very poor experience that did not feel customer-focused from beginning to end.Jonathan D.

My truck had SEVERE UNEVEN BREAKWARE. I felt the front end of the truck shake each time I applied brake pressure to slow from a high rate of speed of 65 mph. This shouldn't happen when a truck has mileage of only 6500.Peter K.

My problem was with the sales rep on the phone. She didn't realize that the storage box on the second level had access only by a stairs/ladder. It was very difficult to get into, pipes in the ceiling and a difficult angle. I wouldn't have been able to manage if my son didn't tag along last minute. My storage unit looks like it might be the runt of the litter, but it gets the job done. The storage unit door does not have the U-Haul logo and painted number as the rest of them do, so it seemed like maybe I got the trash pick.
