I got a 15 foot van from them and picked it up after hours. The app wasn't working, but the lovely lady there at Vitale had called to confirm earlier and gave me an after hours POC. I called that and she got me going. I very well might be renting another one to finish up the move!

The location itself was good and the person who rented the truck to me was very nice. So happy they were open on a Sunday. The complaint I have is with the truck itself. The air conditioning in the truck worked only intermittently on an EXTREMELY hot day which made the 6 hour trip miserable. When it began to rain I turned the wipers on. The driver's side wiper began to fling about and almost flew off into traffic. After having it reattached it still couldn't be used because it wiped clear over to the pillar of the truck which would knock it off again. It was really scary hoping it wouldn't rain the entire trip. The trucks need to be more properly inspected at this location.

Ray JThe air conditioning was intermittently working. I contacted the location. I picked it up at. They gave me the n number of who I needed to reach out to without any hesitation on their end. However, once I reached U-Haul, I gotta run around and then I got Kaitlyn on the phone who was more than helpful from U-Haul and a manager was supposed to reach out to me and never did. So to say the least, I’m very unhappy with U-Haul it’ll be looking at Penske from now on. what kind of managers do you employ that can’t even reach out to take care of a problem? And then you send me a text asking if everything was taken care of how how well they did This has NOTHING to do with Vitales they was helpful!!

Ray JWe had a long trip home and had to go right back to work. We weren't able to drop off the vehicle we purchased from our mechanic until the last day we were to have the rental. We were having a hard time making the deadline with our work schedule. We were 4 min late. The owner had left and turned around and came back when he saw us to take care of receiving the rental back. He was also very kind and accommodating. We sure appreciated his help! Thank you for helping us get things taken care of!

JOVAN AMy initial rating would have been lower based on the initial receipt that showed 100 miles when I drove 86 and had a $20.00 after hours return charge when I was not informed of this. However, the final receipt had the correct milage and no late return charge. U-Haul should clearly mark any PRELIMINARY receipts clearly as such. I think I have three receipt versions either in my email or a link to one on your site. Clear communications are paramount in customer relations. The folks at Vitale Asphalt Sealing (rental location) were very friendly. The access was reasonable and the vehicle in good order and clean.
CHRISTOPHER MThe staff was very informative, professional and kind and the equipment was clean. The tires were a little bald which cause me to get stuck in the mud and the check engine light was on but other than that, the truck ran well and there were no issues.
