The Uhaul itself was clean, but the ignition was very hard to start. The key was very hard to turn to get the engine to start. It felt "locked" and I had to violently hake the steering wheel to get it to unlock so that it could start. I also spent the extra money to have a dozen blankets for wrapping my furniture. When we opened the plastic bag that they were in, they were damp and smelled VERY badly, like mildew and death had a dinner party. The last time I rented a Uhual was in 2001-2002 and I also had a poor experience. I should have learned from my mistake. Please do better. Jacob M. Langstonjacob L.

The truck was fine but u haul customer service needs more training they are giving out wrong information when we reserved the truck they told us we could use a 20 percent off coupon for the rental and that we should present the coupon when we picked up the truck but when we picked up the truck then they told us that we could not use the coupon so my daughter spoke to u haul on the phone and they said that they would credit my credit card I'm still waiting thank youenrique F.

I tried calling them for 2-days to rent a truck, had to go there because it was the closest for me. They need to answer there phones! I asked the store owner why they don't answer there phones, and his response was! We don't answer if we don't know whose calling..... I just shook my head!! The U-Haul app instructed me to take the truck to a different location. However, I could not locate the business when I arrived where it was supposed to be. I tried calling them over and over throughout the day to see if I could return my rental a little early, they never picked up. Went over there and its a convenience store with a parking lot. At first they were not very helpful at all but eventually they did help out. I would rather interact with a u-haul location than a convenience store.Alejandro R.

Our original reservation was changed last minute by Uhaul , no locations in the same distance had the size truck I needed , the locations that did I wasn't willing to drive to as they added extra mileage and the location U-Haul automatically changed us to wed had problems at previously so we refused to go there. After calling customer service the woman was beyond rude and when I asked for a supervisor she said she was one (if that's the case no wonder your cs sucks. After arguing with her she transferred me to the area director Kate. Kate was very nice , however I explained what I was moving and she said I could probably go from the 20ft I'd reserved to the 15 ft so I agreed. However in the end it wasn't big enough resulting in needing to make 2 trips doubling my mileage. With the current times and so many people unemployed and furloughed like our family every penny we have is accounted for and the extra charges ($15 and change) left me with $1 in my account for the next week when I have 5 children that needed that for essentials. So overall between this experience and our last experience I won't use uhaul again.Jason B.

check your own trucks for any damage or malfunction vehicles. most people who rent uhaul have never did that before and does not know to check the doors!!Sybil B.

The service was great. But the location is a liquor store? We didn't think we were in the right place. Especially since we googled it for maps it states that the location is permanently closed????? Charged me for extra things, lady at uhaul said she saw me on camera on time returning the truck, than 3 days later i get charged 105 dollars for an extra day! Plus a $25 cleaning fee for leaving a plastic walmart bag in the back.. seriously.. and when i purchased the truck, at a local location, the guys told me there is no specific location to drop off, and that my payment will allow me to use the truck all day for 200 miles.. i drove 191 miles total, and they charged me 40 cents for 131 miles extra and said i was only allowed 60 miles... my new home was 65 miles away! Why would i purchase a truck for less miles than one trip actually is.Derrick B.
