There were a couple of issues, first I had another location reserved and was told I had to go to this location because the previous renter dropped it off at an incorrect location. Not a huge deal, but somewhat of an inconvenience. Next was the rental truck. The outside and inside (cabin and load area) were dirty.PAUL B.

I made my rental on Friday for a 9am pickup. I arrived at 9 and the single employee did not have the ability to rent the trailer to me. He made a few calls and told me that the person that rents the trailers comes in at 10 so I could wait. He came out at 930 with someone on the phone and we completed the rental by phone. When I was about to leave they forgot to put the dolly in it. So I ran back in a grabbed it. Fast forward a few hours I dropped it off and nobody was present to do the walk through of the trailer.Matthew M.

I was charged a $61 dollar fee due to there not being a 1/4 tank of gas when I returned it. I did put the right amount of gas in and I took a picture and have a gas receipt so I called Andrew from the Boulder UHAUL and he fixed the issue. Andrew the manager is great. The worker there incorrectly recorded the fuel level (the gauge read 1/4 yet he inputted 1/8). Then before I could review it and sign, he completed the form, generating an incorrect receipt and $64 charge. Then, no one on the site knew how to process a refund. I wasted 20 minutes on the phone with U-haul's customer service number. Then I called a different number provided by the store. This rep said she filed a complaint and I'd hear back in 48 hours. 24 hours have elapsed with no action. I sure hope U-haul makes this right. As a military member, I move about once a year, I'd be happy to take my business to someone else.RICHARD Y.

The location I got the truck from was not really professional about anything. Didn't walk around truck or anything. I requested extra things to be provided. Got to my location nothing was in truck at all that I asked for extra. Called them they took off extra charge but was not satisfied with it at all. Was not told back of truck leaked. It was raining that day and some of my things got ruined that can't be replaced. Will never us UHaul again. Really crappy service provided.Robert C.
Make sure cab clean. Passenger seatbelt unusable..tightly strapped over and behind passenger seat.. Did not appreciate change in drop address therefore used lst street for drop off location as specified when reservation made and as it was two blocks from my son's home and to where move was made. I drove from Benld, Illinois into Milwaukee, helped unload... enough for a 76 year old woman without driving across city to drop truck when I knew U-Haul had a facility on 1st Street. I felt awful interrupting their car wash business to get the uhaul and blankets. I originally scheduled to pick up at an actual uhaul business but they didn't have the 15ft available. Where do I begin...from the start of this reservation the experience was poor. I have always used the same location on marshall Dr in Lenexa and had great experience. The online reservation system and limited ability to contact the local store was annoying. The inability to confirm a pick up location until the day before the scheduled pick up was inconvenient. I had to drive 45 minutes from my house to pick up a trailer - very disappointing. I dropped off at 3:45 on Saturday - and the location was closed. How can that be? I was charged an extra fee for that. I will be investigating alternatives to Uhaul the next time i rent. Definately a bad experience.Dan L.

Since I was picking up the trailer later in the day, they suggested I drop it off the following day. I was informed that as long as I drop it off in less than 24 hours, I would only be charged for one day. When I dropped off the trailer, I was charged for 2 days. Instead of fixing the problem, they simply told me to call Uhaul customer service to resolve issue. I did. They call the rental place and talked to them. The rental company called me and told me they would get the problem fixed. This was weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything.BILL M.

They were extremely late & made us wait a long time before they showed up, even though we were told if we didn't show up at 9 AM they would give our trailer to someone else. The guy said he was running errands with his boss. My husband is Active-Duty Army, & I told them he had to get back to work, and this was a military move. The guy said that if we turned in our trailer a day earlier we would get some of our money back. When we called about refund since we turned it in a day early we were told UHaul never refunds money, so we were lied to. I have left two messages for regional manager Robert at 816-646-6149 regarding refund, but he won't call me back. Equipment was fine. Service was very poor.Kathy R.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Uhaul for this move. I submitted my online reservation two weeks prior to the dates I need the vehicle, 24 pads and a furniture dolly. The day before I am to get the truck, I am contacted by Uhaul stating that i could not pick up the vehicle and equipment at my requested location nor could I pick it up at my requested time. When I asked the representative, she informed me that it could not be changed. When I arrived to Xtreme Clean Car Wash, the personnel with the Uhaul training was late getting to the location further delaying my plans for the move. Additionally, even after submitting my reservation request Xtreme Clean Car Wash did NOT have the 24 blanket pads or the furniture dolly I reserved. They stated I had to go to the location on Eisenhower Road (The original location I requested to rent from) to get the pads and dolly. I am extremely disappointed and upset with the entire experience. I am NOT happy with Uhaul and will look for other methods or companies for future moves. Since I am an active duty military Soldier I have several more moves before I retire and not only will I not use Uhaul in the future, I will recommend fellow Soldiers to not use Uhaul.Carl C.
