the location and people were good but the overall experience bad. I likely won’t rent Uhaul again without a screw on connection. . I got back at 5:10, they closed at 4. I could not get trailer to decouple from my hitch. Tried an hour, called an 800 #. A lady said, “happens all the time”, offered a $300 service to help. I had to use my car jack to lift the trailer off. Many of the similar trailers on the lot had jacks built in. Why close so early?

When I arrived they did not have a truck for me and I was told to call U-Haul to fix the issue. I feel like they should have planned better and have known and called ahead of time. I was forced to take a larger truck which in turn cost me more money for gas and I was upset about that. The only good thing was that the location was convenient
Robert IThe guy hooked up a car transport trailer and said it was good. I even asked , is that it? He said yes. There is a new trailer locking mechanism that secures it to the ball hitch. If its down its latched, is what he said. Drove to pick up the car, loaded it. Drove back and unloading it the trailer disconnected from the 2" ball and hit the tailgate of the truck. Uhaul is denying the claim. They say its not possible.
