When I got there it said the location was open until 2:45 on the door. U-Haul app and website said it was open later. I got there around 2 and had issues with the app and verification at first and left then the verification process had finally called my fiancee so we had to turn around. Then I got the keys and the lock box was already unlocked and so anyone could have taken it. I got in the U-Haul and it was filthy and dirty. I took pictures of it on the app to show that and there was trash in the back. Also there was almost an empty tank and when I left the parking lot it said 50 miles to empty, so then I had to get gas. Next after loading everything up and then when I was unloading I found out there was a leak some where in the grandmas attic because some boxes I noticed were soaked at the bottom and I felt up there and it was wet in the left corner of grandmas attic. Then when I get back to return it there isn’t any option that I could find that said it’s not clean and I object to paying for the cleaning fee. I drove it 20 miles (to home, storage unit and back to U-Haul location) I didn’t get it any dirtier than it was before. And I was still charged for it.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkFirst, the truck had only one-quarter of a tank of gas when we picked it up, and we returned it with slightly more gas than it had originally. Second, the truck ran horribly and constantly pulled while being driven. It was clearly not well maintained. After stopping for gas, I restarted the truck, but it would not go into gear. I had to turn it off and restart it repeatedly before it finally shifted into drive. Fortunately, we were returning the truck at that point; otherwise, we could have been stranded. I reported these problems to the employee at the counter, but she appeared unconcerned. She simply said she would check the truck and told me to leave the keys. To make matters worse, I was not even charged the correct amount. The mileage was estimated in advance, and the actual mileage was not entered before my card was charged in full. I expect the charge to be reviewed and corrected based on the truck’s actual mileage.
