Alan Pwiring for lights shorted out and cause damage to my car, we called roadside assistance, and apparently there was no one, to fix or tow a trailer anywhere in the surrounding area of Edmunston NB. My husband had to buy external lights to attach to the trailer costing us over $100 in order to be able to drive to destination. we then had to purchase more wiring for our car for at the cost of over $100. Roadside assistance finally showed up to fix the wiring on the trailer and the mechanic confirmed the short in the trailer wiring caused the damage to wiring in my car. But we ended up having to keep the trailer another day + because of the issues. which we were charged for. Then on the way home we noticed a bulge in the tire, we were thankful we made it to drop off location with tire intact. We informed them of the bad tire, and hopefully it will get fixed before the trailer is rented out to someone else. We expect to be reimbursed by UHaul for all our extra expenses and time this problem caused. Customer service staff on the phone were very apologetic, but could not offer us anything but apologies. The staff at the Quispamsis Uhaul were very helpful in getting us the wiring we needed to replace on our car. I hope Uhaul will make this right!
Trish BLocation made me wait an hour while they dealt with one person ahead of me. Everything was already taken care of online, I should have only needed to pick it up and go. Then I had to redo the information I'd done online in person with the attendant. They required unnecessary information such as another person to contact despite the fact it was for my own personal use and they had my ID and credit card on file. They also added insurance without telling me despite me turning it down online. I only caught it because the price didn't match the online quote. They made me pay upfront and then tried charging me again on return. All in all a pretty poor experience.
