I reserved 2 hand trucks and furniture pads along with my UHaul vehicle. The day before my reservation, I received a call to confirm my order. The representative stated that the equipment I requested was not at the original location but could be picked up at a different one (Wolcott). When I arrived, only the UHaul was available. The representative on site stated that another customer took my reserved equipment and there were no other hand trucks I could use. It felt entirely unprofessional to request I pick up my order at a different location to ensure my entire reservation could be met and then give my order to someone else/not even have it be available to me. This put a huge wrench in my plans for moving and caused me to incur additional costs for the extra time it took to move furniture without the proper equipment.

Elmer PThe meriden rd location knew my reservation could not be fulfilled and instead of calling me to make arrangements, i sat in there uhual lot for an hour and a half ( i was ontime for my pickup time at 5:30am) before customer service finally picked up to help and notify me the meriden uhaul location could not fulfill my order ontop of not being given the dollys and pads i rented for my move. Thank you to renes, for being able to provide me a uhaul last minute, when the other location could not. Renes was great!
