I rented a large unit in the new building and planned to stay for a few months. There were no carts when we moved in and my kids and I had to carry our stuff down to the end of two long corridors to my unit. After a couple weeks of being in the unit I received a call to tell me the building was shutting down and my stuff could be moved for free with a one month free. They didn’t have the same size unit so it will be in 2 smaller units. When I saw my new payments for the unit(s) it was $120/month more than I was paying for the one large. After questioning the manager about why it wasn’t going to be the original amount considering the circumstances, Bryan, the manager said that I could’ve taken my stuff and moved out. I won’t be back. Sorry.

I asked if I could switch to a different unit, but apparently no others in that size were available. I asked if I could receive a small discount since a good portion of the space was unusable, but no one ever followed up with me. Also, days after I rented the unit, a red lock was mistakenly placed on the door of my unit, restricting my ability to move additional belongings into my unit. The red lock was placed on the door of my unit for "non-payment", but this was never the case, as I had just moved my things in less than a week prior.
PHILLIP K | Overall ExperienceI went there the day before and told him what two sizes I might be interested in. Said I would be back the next. When I went back the next day I found out the size units I was interested in "they didn't have available". I'm ok with what I got but it would have been nice to know I had to make other choices.
