It would’ve been nice if all customers that’s renting a U-Haul truck received the one month free storage space if you’re renting the truck from that same location if they offer storage rental and you’re using the truck locally only. Meaning you rent there and bring the truck back to that same location. Now it only apply to one way rentals. that was my only dilemma because I ended up having to rent two storages to accommodate my belongings. other than that, you’re North Avenue location in Athens, Georgia gets five stars for me..

Heather R | Overall ExperienceI reserved a 10x20 unit four months in advance as I live in a college town and knew that the bigger units would go fast. However, when we arrived to check in we were informed none of those units were available despite our reservation. The general manager was very unhelpful and told us the only size available was a 10x8 which is less than half the size we reserved. He did nothing to offer us any help such as a discounted rate on another unit that we did end up having to reserve as we knew all of our things would not fit in such a small unit. What is the point of using a larger commercial storage company like U-haul if both the convenience and variety of unit sizes are not guaranteed. In the future I will be using smaller local businesses to store my things instead.
