The indoor storage area was ridiculous. The security system wasn't working correctly so we had a hard time getting in and out of the building. The storage unit we were assigned was already taken. The code never did work for one of our storage units and it set the alarm off when we opened it. Staff was great! The facility needs some help.

ANGELA S | First ImpressionsThis is a great facility. Very convenient location and they have drive-in locations for both floors. The location makes it convenient to grab a bite to eat or hit Wal-mart, Menard’s, etc… to pick up things you need while moving.
DARIN H | Overall ExperiencePlace was trashed and doors broken, people from Texas renting and living in the storage units for the air conditioning. Police called for renters leaving a pet in a locked and not running vehicle. Manager needs to work more, the employees that work after they are gone, are more interested on there phones, and do not follow instructions at all. One employee lunged at my daughter, luckily I wasn't there to see that. Feel free to contact me

Do not know why the payment failed I came over right away to pay the rent and to let you know that July 4 would be the last day we would need the garage I was charged a full months rent and a late fee for 1day This practice is terrible and the rent should’ve been prorated. The alarm would go off every time we opened the door to the unit The staff was very good, but couldn’t help with the full months rent nor the late fee

Vincent L | Overall ExperienceI was not ever given a date that the unit was going to be auctioned by and my last correspondence with the manager via email was her telling me it wasn’t scheduled for auction yet after I’d requested more time to get caught up because I’m homeless and had just started a new job. Then, on June 17th, I receive a “final notice” email telling me that due to not being able to reach me, that they’d sold my unit for $80 and that I owe the rest of what was unpaid. For one, they were able to reach me as we’d corresponded via email just fine up until this. And my unit rental agreement was also not current at the time of the auction which makes the sale of my belongings and their claims of not being able to reach me and the reasoning behind selling my belongings ethically wrong and also a complete lie. According to Iowa self storage Lein laws i was supposed to be informed of the auction date be email, certified letter, or just through the app. None of those were provided and delivered to me either in person or email. I have every intent to sue for this as I did what was asked of me when I first storing my belongings in the units here. If the manager was more concerned with adhering to the self storage lein laws than she was with getting that last word and arguing with the customer I bet there wouldn’t be so many issues.
