My items were damaged and dirty from the repair of the roof right above my storage unit. I was never notified that they were doing this repair. I moved out on Saturday and I spoke with the manager on Monday to let her know what had happened. She said she would file a claim with the insurance company and with in 30 minutes send me a claim #. I'm still waiting for the claim #. I'm upset cause I feel like nobody at U Haul cares.

Allison W | Overall ExperienceAfter the 3rd attempt I did get a unit the size like the one I already had. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the intercom system until the 3rd time I had to go back to office to get appropriate size needed and because I have a knee replacement , osteoporosis and problems from a couple broken back bones that never healed properly… it had become frustrating and painful. I had to take my movers’ word that the final unit I have was good and pray that they stacked correctly. Also, I did make aware that it is a dead bird in the unit that I didn’t accept on the 6th floor …bad omen for me. My daughter said it was a sign of grieving which my aunt (more like my mom) recently died. I guess I should have listened to Kylie from the beginning. After telling her what all I had she told me I would probably need 2 large units. I was praying that I didn’t have to🥲🙏 However, I still would rate the customer service a 10. I could only wish this location had larger units like other locations have.
