Linda B | First ImpressionsMy first experience was with Jeff Walker, he was awesome and I couldn’t ask for anything better. He is the reason for my return for my storage needs. I returned in March 2026, Jeremiah Grayson had taken Jeff’s place. Again, my experience has been a great one as well. Jeremiah has gone far and beyond working with me. I feel bad that my situation has been difficult and I honestly haven’t been the best customer with so much slamming me. I am currently homeless and trying to keep everything in place that I do have left. Jacob and “J” the cleaning gal and Jeremiah has most definitely have been a great kindness where there hasn’t been much and everything has been so horrible. This kindness shown has made a tremendous difference in my own situation and trying to work through it. I am so grateful and I must say having worked in customer service support and everything else that I have done, you couldn’t find a staff anywhere better than this team. Understanding and caring makes a big impact. They work hard and they really do deserve recognition for their hard work, efforts and their kindness. I recommend to everyone that this U-HAUL location is the one to go to in the Grand Rapids area, others moving in I tell them that they are in the right place because this staff is incredible. Elizabeth K | Overall ExperienceLots of people trying to act like they have storage when they’re homeless which is unfortunate but a tad (scary)? Idk the right word just a little too easily acccessible to the general public without storage and I’m a smaller woman. Otherwise it’s a good storage.
