The uhaul employees are incredibly nice friendly and professional. I had a good experience overall but was frustrated upon arriving to move in. I called multiple times to ensure the process would go smoothly. I was told which unit I needed based on a one bedroom apartment. Upon arrival it was after hours so I had to move in online. The link that was sent to me did not work. I was sent a link 4 times before it worked. When I called after the third attempt I was told they couldn’t help me until the next morning. At that time it was 8:30pm. I had driven 7 hours. I had to leave early before the office opened the next morning to drive another 9 hours. Yet the person didn’t seem to be concerned. Fortunately another person sent me the fourth link which worked. But then I get into the facility to find out that I had been put on the second floor with no freight elevator. There was a 40% grade ramp I had to push furniture up. I’m 5’2” 110 pounds. This is unacceptable. I don’t even know how I’m going to get my stuff back down the ramp. I literally called and specifically asked if there was a freight elevator. I was told emphatically yes there was. Keep in mind this was in the dark at 8:30 at night. To top it off, not all of my stuff fit in the space. The unit was not as big as the 10’ van I had rented. Again the people are kind but there is a disconnect on the knowledge about the facilities and the online system has some glitches that need to be addressed. I would recommend Uhaul to others but I would make sure they are completely aware of the negatives they may encounter. Hopefully these can be addressed.
Angela Z | Online Move InMy unit was #1 the first unit but it seems like it was the last unit at the opposite end of the entrance. Every time I went there I always had to get staff to move a trailer or truck Very inconvenient. The unit had no lights it was very dark and I had containers that had moisture damage. I had to throw a lot of stuff away. I recommend them not renting out that first unit because they treated like parking lot in front. It doesn’t matter how often someone visits there unit they should have full access to it at all times. I do not recommend outside units because of the weather and especially when it’s dark for the crawling critters.

Leo G | Overall ExperienceI had valuable and memorable things that got ruined with mold there were snake skins like I found 4 to 5 snake skins in different areas in my storage! There was all kinds of gravel! Which came from where I don’t know cause the floor walls and ceiling was concrete! The whole storage smelled of mold and that’s just with big items that were not boxed! So other things that were boxed I have not checked yet! I will be filing an insurance claim! And I still haven’t received my deposit back yet from the truck rental I had a 55 dollar off coupon from the corporate office! Thanks for your time! Have a good day!
