My experience has been horrible. My unit was canceled and the person on-site was not helpful. Spent hours on phone to get it corrected Noone knows while it was canceled. My 30 day fee offer failed. The lady on the phone walking me through the checking said the location should refund me because the offer was on the unit. Location refused. Had to extend day with truck and pay movers again. So I'm charged for for my free month a day on the truck and a day for movers not able to move and a day to come back. All this (and more issues with uhaul) has taken time away from my ability to complete my move here and I've had to pay more in rent to complete my move here. Your manager never called my back either. Horrible experience.
Tamilya W | Online Move InI was told that the price I was quoted online, and via a phone conversation with U-Haul was for "the facility down the road", and was charged significantly higher. Also, I was told on the phone that I would receive a "free lock", which I was told at check in did not apply. Between my wife and I we have three storage units with. U-Haul and, in the past, the customer service has always been great—but this time it was so poor that I nearly canceled everything. I can assure you that, based on my checkin experience, I will never rent anything from U-Haul in the future.

Tracie T | Overall ExperienceMy only issue is with the difficulty accessing the drive-up storage unit I have. It's built with an elevated opening too far above the ground that a handtruck with stacked boxes/totes, etc... cannot be used. There's no ramp or other assistance provided making it absolutely impossible for anything with significant weight to be lifted or carried into these units. As these are the only units available for 24/7 access, I'm now forced to look for another storage facility that won't be near the location I need. Thank You.
Ralph w | First ImpressionsI walked into the U-Haul office storage facility without knowing Uhaul offers storage, thanks to the helpful staff at the Rivergate location. They quickly and efficiently got me a unit, and the prices were very reasonable. The facility is always clean and smells great, and the friendly staff makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend this place if you need storage. The team is amazing!

TOCCORA H | First ImpressionsI had issues checking in with the mobile app for my UHaul truck rental. I have an out of state ID and my references were not being called. The app agent canceled my reservation for some reason, but the on-site office was able to get me set-up within minutes. After loading up my storage unit contents, I made a second visit to the on-site office to check out of my unit. Another quick and seamless process. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. I rented out a large outside unit from September 2025 to April 3, 2026. Outside of one hostile incident with another rentee in December 2025, my storage unit visits were met by friendly staff who offered assistance with a smile. Mr. Perry took care of my concerns for the isolated incident upon his return as he was out of state during that time.
