My move had taken a turn for the worse when the independent helper I booked texted me after three hours of waiting to say he would be even later. I had no choice but to cancel him, leaving me to do most of the work on my own. Working in July’s heat in Miami, feeling frustrated and overwhelmed, Willie Shine and his team stepped in and turned the situation around with their professionalism and expertise. (And ice-cold water) They immediately found a reliable helper, provided me with a spotless new van, and gave invaluable advice on how to best utilize the space in the van to get everything packed efficiently. Not only did they make the entire process easier, but they also adjusted my rental contract to ensure I had enough time to complete the move without any additional stress. Their quick thinking and genuine care made all the difference on a day that could have gone very wrong. I want to give special recognition to Crystal for her rapid solutions and calm demeanor, and to Derrick for his incredible stamina and hands-on approach. Willie Shine and his team treated me with kindness and understanding, making what could have been a nightmare move into a smooth and successful experience. If you're looking for a team that will go above and beyond to ensure your move is as stress-free as possible, I highly recommend Willie Shine and his amazing crew at this U-Haul location. They truly turned my day around, and I couldn't be more grateful!
karrie f | Overall ExperienceThe experience is terrible. We found the storage full of mices / rats and mice and rats' poop. The smell was horrible, and we had to throw away several items such as mattress, bags, bed sheets, shoes, leather chair, with a damage over $2000.00.There is even a mice that was hiding in a box, that we saw running away from the box at our house. She is in the house now and we are fighting to kill it. I will place a claim to recover what I consider is due.
