Terrible experience!!! I will NEVER use any of their services ever again. I already called in the issues to corporate so they should be on file. Person in office at the site eliminated at least a year ago and never replaced (safety issue), remote to open gate broke over a year ago and still broken so you have to get out of your car and punch in code to open the gate, I asked for a year to have garage door fixed since it kept falling until I saw the maintenance guy and he told me he was never given the job. He was wonderful…fixed in 2 minutes appropriately. No more fear of being shut inside. The rope broke on my garage. It was on the ground when I arrived I opened the garage and then was too short to close the garage. I called the office that was a short distance away because they no longer had onsite personnel and explained I could not close the garage door. They would not come to shut it. I was told to leave the garage door open. The staff is young and learned how to disrespect customers from their supervisor. I asked if young people are being prejudice because I am a senior citizen. I asked them to call their supervisor for guidance and the employees refused refused saying he was home. I drove down to the store and there were 2 employees and 1 customer. I asked for a piece of rope to try and get around the garage knob so I can close the garage door with my belongings. They said they had no rope. I went back to the garage storage unit and waited for my daughter to get done work so she could shut the garage door for me since she is much taller than me. I called corporates to tell them if so much trouble with them and then said I wss leaving and I would not pay June rent. Steve, store manager then sent me a receipt via email saying June had no balance. Then he sent my daughter (at her home) and me a past due bill for June. I was continuing to be bullied. I told U-Haul corp and Steve that I also had another storage unit at another place for 11 years and NEVER has there been an issue NEVER. The only reason I did not have a 2nd unit there was because none were available when I needed it so I went to U-Haul but never again. All I wanted was a place to store some stuff and for me to get what was promised safety by having someone in the building during normal work hours, remote gate to work, garage door to get fixed within a reasonable timeframe without me tracking the maintenance guy and getting the door fixed, courtesy and respect. The directions for this comment is to try and resolve issues with the site before leaving feedback. So you don’t think I did that over and over and over again? Their response was always to ignore and the Supervisor bullying continued after I called your customer service number. I did not deserve any of this. Why is the other storage company without incident in 11 years while I only had u-haul for about 2 years and so many issues not resolved.

Overall I was very happy with my U-Haul rentals. I'm currently utilizing a 10x25x10 storage unit at the Mount Laurel location and everything seems to be working out great! All of the employees I dealt with were very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.
