One person on staff (young guy) was very friendly and helpful. From the lady on the phone at the central uhaul who tricked me and held me up during my move, made false claims, to the charging of my card unauthorized… I will never recommend this to anyone else and I will now be very cautious about ever using this service again. Do better. It’s not nice to trick people. Or pay your employees better so they don’t feel pressure to lie.

EVELYN C | First ImpressionsThe manager, Lorenzo, has no sense of customer service or even how to follow the companies policies or laws. He charged my card without my permission after I explicitly told him I had turned off auto pay because if another payment was needed it would need to be done on a different card. I was 6 days past my bill due date and he didn’t like that I told him I may not be able to empty the unit in time, I had been sharing it with another person and I was told by that person they had removed all of their stuff, they did not, so I did not realize my u it still had stuff in it until Lorenzo called to tell me. so he charged the full amount and late fees anyway. What’s the point in a late fee if he can just take the money whenever he wants??? I escalated all the way up to a regional director and was told they weren’t going to make him reverse the charge even though he made the charge illegally. I disputed it with my bank and they got my money back. After that I had zero desire to interact with Lorenzo or do business with Uhaul any longer. I requested an abandoned unit form, which was never offered to me, a random CSR let me know it was a thing. I had to request it several months in a row, all the while my account accrued more and more late fees. I never received the form. Absolutely most ridiculous customer service experience of my life.
