Uhaul's storage units are 2.5x's higher than local competitor's. I moved to a 10x10 unit that is $18 for the 1st 3months and then $43/mo thereafter. Uhauls rates are not even close to competitive in this market!

We moved to a U-Haul climate controlled unit after having a horrible experience at another storage facility. We were very pleased with the facility and the ease of use. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Above all else, we knew our things were secure in this facility. We built our own storage building on property, or we would still be using them.

I drove 45 minutes two times to get my stuff for an event. I was told I was emailed. I asked her to what email. She looked it up and didn't have an email for me on file. Paying that much to have a place to store things that you have to drive to get to, and, is NOT climate controlled, is egregious rip-off! If I there had been available rental with an extra 15 sq foot of space, it would have cost me so much less.
