EMILE P | First ImpressionsI’ve canceled my storage units twice and they’re sending me notices saying my rent is due. So clearly they can’t cancel units in person or over the phone. The unit itself was great.

AND...the employees don't know how to close out a unit when moved out, which lead to contact, outstanding charges and numerous lien notices. Contacted the facility and spoke with Joshua, Matt, and Sherri and was directed to Customer service center representatives. They were not any better as everyone didn't want to fix this problem and kept transferring onto the next person without a resolution. I WILL NEVER USE THIS STOUGHTON FACILITY OR RECOMMENDATION IT TO ANYONE! I WILL BE REPORTING TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!

Experience was rated poor as my items were covered in mice poop all over, the manager and supervisor of the facility was disrespectful, rude and careless about the damage done to my property. To date I am still being charged even though I moved month ago.

JANICE H | Overall ExperiencePoor Customer Service and unprofessional approach to business. This location operates like a Military camp with no respect for customers and the U-Haul brand. I'm so anxious to remove my furniture and items from this location. I was not treated with respect and was aggressively instructed in a commanding and verbally abusive approach. I was humiliated and disrespected in front of other customers. Poor representative of business BUT most importantly no value for Customer Service. This U-Haul location gives me severe anxiety after a fourteen (14) hours drive.

MORRELL P | Overall ExperienceI have never met staff that were less friendly or accessible. Every time I arrived over a two-day period, it was difficult to find anyone to simply answer a question. I returned to my unit to find a different lock on the door without explanation. When I finally found someone, I was told it was not fully locked, so another lock was placed on the door. Although that was great in terms of securing the unit, it would have been helpful to receive a call or text to inform me of this rather than have me be unable to access the unit and search for a staff person to figure out what was going on finally. Overall, the communication is extremely poor, and the efficiency is terrible. This is evidenced by the documentation on this form. I moved into the units on 6/29/24 and moved out on 7/6/24. The units were both completely clean and immediately tagged eligible for rental, but despite speaking directly with the staff there at checkout and calling numerous times to the location, they did not check me out in their system until 7/15/24. I don't know what the game is but it is poor customer service and inefficient. I will NEVER use UHaul storage again.
