Ive spent thousands of dollars at Uhaul in the past few years and this was the single worst experience ever! From the start, not providing me with a lock at all to the unit, having delayed moving in, having to call the staff member from the unit ot walk out and bring the lock, being CHARGED $10.00 EXTRA FOR PAYING ON TIME WITH A CHECK, being harassed by phone and by emails (not letters that are corporately allowed, this manager seems to be targeting little old ladies! Remember it was a bunch of @10 old women who ultimately shut down the ENTERGY NUCLEAR PLANT IN Vernon , Vermont! I'll never use UHAUL AGAIN. By the way Google tracks my reviews, so far it up over 2,000,000! people who have seen them!

Bailey, she was kind every time we spoke on the phone and even in store. I unfortunately recently lost my job and the team didn’t make me feel less than. They were very positive as I had to move out and move back home to Virginia. Also, they were very understanding when I was unable to drive a 26’ truck. They made sure I found a truck that I was comfortable driving the distance I was driving. I would recommend this location every time. Thank you all.

JOHN B | First ImpressionsRAT INFESTED - STAY FAR AWAY! I have posted photos and video on the store’s Yelp page as proof. PLEASE go look before storing anything important here. I have had this storage for almost three years because I moved out of state. I finally came to clean it out. Despite me calling to make an appointment, assistant manager (at best that’s his title) had an un-authorized lock on the unit that only he had the key to. This was not a traditional u-haul lock. It was a heavy-duty black lock that he clearly brought from home because after arriving at my appointment move-out time, the cashier who went to unlock the storage called Patrick to find out that he was at home with the only key to the lock. I was forced to drive another 3-hour round trip from the New Hampshire state line the next day AFTER WORK, at which time I was able to access my storage. The staff refused to give me copies of my final paperwork, but I do have a receipt. While moving out, I discovered that everything in my storage was covered in rat feces and rat urine. (See Yelp) The rodents also shredded many of my family heirlooms. This was immense emotional damage for me. Particularly, items that belonged to my grandmother in the 40s (like her fur coat) were irreparably chewed and urinated on. I should have guessed this was true because when you walk into the facility, the moth ball smell is overwhelming. As you will note in the video on Yelp, when I went to tell the manager about the rat problem, he got angry and tried to physically force me to leave the store so other customers wouldn’t hear. That all happened on a Saturday. By Monday, my partner started to show flu-like symptoms. We are now at the hospital being tested for rat-bourne illnesses. If I find out that’s what he has, I will call the CDC to have the whole facility shut down. THIS IS YOUR WARNING. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE AND DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH ITEMS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU.

He was Excellent from my 1st inquiry phone call, to giving me a tour, explaining everything & answering all my questions. He saw something that needed attention upon moving into the unit I was renting & immediately had his staff work on it until it was completed to his satisfaction. I was Very Impressed! Bailey, the woman who is working w/him was very friendly & helpful as well! She made me feel very comfortable w/the place overall! They both were extremely welcoming! And that says a lot about a company. Happy to have taken him up on his offer to see it in-person. (As I was gonna dismiss it over-the-phone, because I thought it may be too high a rent for me.) Not having to pay an additional deposit fee did help my decision. Glad I gave it a chance. I believe it’s a good fit for what I need right now.
Angela I | First ImpressionsHad to drive away with camper in tow just to go get a paper copy of my insurance from staples so the guy can take a photo with his phone because he couldn’t just take a pic of the same info from my phone and I’m suppose to have access when I want but the key fob didn’t work so the guy took it from me and came outside to let me in the gate. .
