I walked in to rent a storage and I was greeted with respect and professionalism. Also the storage unit is very secured and clean. I did not know about a one-year promotion for a price lock and I was not asked about it upon my arrival but I should look into it.

A mediocre experience that ended horribly for both my storage and trailer rental. I very strongly dislike U-Haul and would never re commend them to anyone
DANIEL C | Overall ExperienceMy son's car was stored here for 1 month after college. I tried to contact the Williston, VT location multiple times by phone and email with no response. Phone calls would roll over to their national customer service. I was reaching out to them because my son was picking up his car on the same day as the next billing 6/27. I was hoping to pay for one day of storage. I spoke to customer service on 6/22/26. Sophia, customer service rep, contacted Williston location and she confirmed that as long as my son's car was picked up by 6/28 we would NOT be charged for another month of storage. My son flew into VT on 6/27 and picked up his car and was charged for an entire month of storage $184.95. I asked him to have Patrick the manager call but I never recived the call. I called the 1-800 number and got a national customer service rep, Candice. She called the Williston, VT store and requested they refund the charge. I have not heard from the manager and have not received a refund. I will be disputing this charge and filing with the Better Business Bureau.
Michele W | Overall ExperienceRented and paid for a lock, which the receipt said was ours to keep. My daughter was asked for a separate credit card when she picked up the lock/key. They continued to charge her card and not mine, despite being asked multiple times. And when she turned in the pass keys at the end of the rental, they said the lock/key stayed with them - that it was not actually purchased as confirmed on the receipt. Frustrating experience. Too bad b/c the actual facility is terrific and kept very clean.

All corporate does is send a message for the Williston VT location to call me back, which they never do. This has been going on for days. Unacceptable customer service.

JAME D | Overall ExperienceI very disappointed, I reserved a 10by15 storage unit then when I get there to check in they give me one just to find out that I need to get something different because they gave me when with stuff going to auction. I had to get 3 box’s which yes they refunded me but I still needed to pay for those. I was struggling putting my things in there. Am not happy at all. I would like a least the first month free because this is uncalled for. When it wasn’t even my fault.

I spent thousands of dollars in storage at this facility over three years so that I could have my items accessible and unusable when I needed them and they were completely destroyed. I selected no to well lit because the motion lights go out unless you’re moving at the end of the hallways and my storage unit units were in the center.

JOHN B | Overall ExperienceBruce initially helped us but he was making the process difficult and we stood there for an hour before finally getting our unit. But he didn’t explain how to get into the unit, someone else helped us with that and we were able to move things in.
