Extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. We rented a storage unit here during a family move, and upon moving out, we discovered a mice nest inside our sofa. Because of the damage and hygiene concerns, we had to throw the sofa away entirely. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly difficult to deal with. The lady at the front was rude and seemed to be looking for a conflict at every turn. When I brought up these issues and mentioned writing a review, the manager actually threatened me with a "breach of contract," though he couldn't explain how a review constitutes a breach. It felt like a clear attempt at intimidation to cover up poor facility maintenance and service. Avoid this location if you value your furniture or your sanity.

All the help was given with a smile. The Century location gets my highest rating. I will definitely recommend it, and all other UHAULS to my friends.

From booking the storage locker to booking the truck and closing the locker, she walked me through each step and made recommendations that made my life 100x easier. I will definitely be using this location again in the future.

Marie C | First ImpressionsWhat kept this score from being above average was 2 things, 1 being this…in the loading bay there is an area that is fenced (assume that’s for U-Haul supplies). And right beside this space is a fairly large area that is always filled with unwanted furniture etc. I noticed this when I first unloaded my belongings into storage. A few months later when I came back to empty my storage unit I noticed yet again a fairly large pile of what I still assumed was unwanted belongings. Now, whether or not this next part sounds outlandish, it is what me and my helpers all assumed due to no signage indicating otherwise. I had decided at the time I did not want my king size mattresses any longer so added them to the pile. Later that day when my friend came back to return his rented U-Haul truck (which did not have any blankets at pick-up and is supposed to be part of rental agreement), was told by an employee, “I saw you this morning emptying your storage unit and saw you put your mattresses in that pile”. “You can’t do that and unless you remove it, you’ll be charged”. If this employs saw us in the morning doing something we shouldn’t, why not just come talk to us at the time? All four of us are middle aged professionals, it wouldn’t have been a problem. There just simply was no signage that we saw that states not to leave belongings here or you will be charged. It was highly inconvenient to wait until the very end of day to then bring that to our attention. My friend was meant to come with me and surprise my 89 year old Mother that’s in hospital. Because of this employee’s lack of dealing with the situation at the time he saw it happening, my friend was left to find a place that was appropriate to leave my unwanted mattress, therefore leaving him unable to come either me to the hospital. My 2nd concern is more a question. Why is it that you don’t return any unused rent money if someone departs early? With limited storage units available in the city I would assume my unit would have a quick turn around for another renter. Isn’t that considered double dipping? Again, it’s just frustrating that I paid my rental unit on time each month, left before I was required and didn’t receive anything back for doing so. Thank you for reading and hope for future renters, their experience is a little more an above average experience.

William K | First ImpressionsWhen I was closing the unit the woman helping me was not friendly at all. She couldn’t find the unit she had to come back and check the unit number and to get a map. When she returned I said “were you successful?” She gave me a dirty look and replied “well yes”. She didn’t smile once, I was not greeted when I entered the store she made me feel dumb anytime I asked her something.I had to correct her multiple times on how to pronounce my last name. All around it was not a good experience She works in customer service. If she is not happy with her job maybe she needs to find a new one. Thank you
Rebecca F | Overall ExperienceThe move out went smoothly. However, I was rather alarmed to discover that someone had tried to jimmy the lock to my unit. Staff members had to pry the door open. I did not notice anything missing, but it was rather unsettling.
