I actually a rather unsettling experience with this rental.. I booked at one site..got a call to go to another site...not my first choice but close enough.. When I arrived to get the truck, I had to go searching for someone.. found him in the car wash bay. Said I was here to pick up my truck. He said "No you're not!".. I said.." Ummm.. actually, yes I am.." Again with the No you're Not! ..I was getting a bit concerned.. I had someone waiting to help me move some large items and I was on a schedule.. This was wierd.. Eventually, he told me that his system was down and he was unable to rent me the truck and that I should go to the East Lake location.. Which was the one I wanted to begin with. Not sure why I was sent to the Car Wash location.. It is a very busy place. Limited space to leave my vehicle..owner is not pleasant.. Glad I didn't end up renting from there.. Asswani at East Lake was fabulous! Polite, respectful and accomodating given no advanced warning, although there was a young man named Muhammed that said he was aware of the Car Wash guy having issues.. Got my truck. Parked my car safely. Did my move and was back in a couple hours. Asswani came out to the lots to meet me and ensure everything went well and I got my invoice. Still not sure why I didn't get a "heads up" about the Car wash location having issues.. my time slot was noon..lots of time to contact me and save me from that awful experience.. he was clearly very unhappy about his system being down.. But to be told..No you're Not! When I am there to pick up a booked truck was quite disconcerting.. He could have advised me to go to East Lake as he was having technical issues.. I repeat..this was 11:30 in the morning..there was plenty of time to have dealt with a booked customer.. He was cleaning the grates in the car wash bay when I got there.. Some places should not be UHaul Rental Outlets.. customers depend on these people to provide a service that we book in advance. There are many moving parts to times where your products are involved..we need to be able to trust that products and services will be delivered..things happen, I get that..but you are a large company and there is no reason I should have to have dealt with this guy..
