*** marked the location as above average, but definitely would include an asterisk *** Yes, the location itself was above average and the agents were friendly and the equipment was clean and well maintained I did have an issue when it came to the contract! My contract showed that the unit I rented was supposed to have a 1/2 tank of gas in it! However, the gauge was clearly (I have photos) below the 1/2 mark. I questioned the agent and all she would do was make a notation on my contract that “the gas hand is a bit below half a tank” I drove the vehicle to the gas station and after putting 24.063 litres into the tank the gas hand finally came up to 1/2 mark. (Again I took photo) I called the agent to let them know, but in hindsight I should have returned to their location! The day after I arrived at my destination, I stopped by the return agent with gauge showing approximately the same position as it was when I picked up the unit! I asked what would happen if I were to bring the truck back at that time! The return agent told me that I would be told to take the truck across to the gas station and fill it to the 1/2 mark or I would be charged with having a “low” indication (below 1/2) and they would charge me the amount it would have taken to bring the gas hand up to the 1/2 and “possibly “ an extra $20.00 service although they would “ probably “ not charge for the service under the circumstance! Upon emptying the unit, I swept it out and put enough gas in it to bring the gas hand slightly ‘above’ the 1/2 mark. (Again, I have photos) I ended up getting punished for the failure of the previous rental either not being charged for bringing the unit back with gauge showing below the accepted mark, or …what if? ….. Maybe they were charged and the agent simply pocketed the money and did not bring the gas level back up to the acceptable level! In either case, I ended up paying for fuel in excess of $30.00 which I “couldn’t “ use! Yes… it’s “only” $30.00 but that amounts to several meals for this “senior “ Thanks!!

Excellent customer service
Jeff GSeems the system to get trucks is a little flawed in the sense that the service people have to use there phones to log the trucks as well as there was 3 trucks outside none of which were spoken for except for mine and it was saying that there was no truck for me. But thankfully the wonderful woman who was checking me in did fantastic and got the whole thing figured out. The woman was fantastic, the service was great and people skills were amazing. And the truck was easy to drive, bit bumpier then expected but fit exactly what we needed.
Brandon FAfter hours drop off at burin location.
Wallace EThe location was not open on the scheduled pickup day and the equipment I reserved was not available nor was there a hitch, the location did everything they could to help even purchased a hitch from another vendor and provided it to me however U-Haul completely screwed up my booking and I was 1 1/2 days late getting the trailer costing me an extra night in hotel, the loss of my ferry reservation so I had to purchase the tickets twice and it cost me an additional $800. In wabush nobody met me at the drop off to confirm my return I was told just to leave it. For my 1 1/2 days lost and additional $800 cost I got a $50 discount. I will not be using U-Haul ever again nor will I recommend it to anyone
