Nothing was fast friendly sevice
ELIZABETH KAwful experience. Talked to the staff person about renting a 10' truck. Later found out he had booked a cargo van. The next person who 'helped' me booked a 10' truck, but called back the day before the booking to tell me no 10' truck was available, and I would have to book a 14' truck (I think this is called 'up-selling'). So I ended up with a 14' truck I did not want and the additional stress driving and maneuvering this vehicle. Of course I was charged for the larger vehicle. I am not bothered about the additional money, but did not like the 'ripped off' feeling that went with it. As the person who booked the 10' truck blamed the computer system for allowing her to book a vehicle that was not available, I would be reluctant to use U-haul at another location in the future.

JAMIE KIn spite of booking a trailer and paying online the previous day, l spent over an hour at the store because the computer soft warehouse was not functioning. I saw no reason why l could not leave with the trailer as you had all my information as a previous customer plus this on line booking. Agent was very sympathetic and professional, saying U Haul operating system does this often, it needs updating. This is totally unacceptable and should be rectified. Finally, condition of the car trailer was rough to say the least, it obviously had never been serviced plus it was the only one they had and l had to return it to them, not to Peterborough, where l live, adding even more time to.my schedule.
