Charged extra mileage for some reason. I chose to drop off in Liberty and I was told to drop in Greenville and then charged for extra miles. Uhaul is a joke now.

The guy who runs the place made me get the insurance even though I clearly stated that I didn’t want or need the insurance. He told me that it was a requirement to rent a van which it is not. I have rented several vans previously without the optional insurance and I expressly used my Capital One Venture X Visa as it covers anything that U Hauls insurance covers. In addition to being improperly charged for the insurance, I had to wait over 30 minutes as there was only one person at the office and he was completely unaware as to how to proceed with my rental and had to phone the owner who as I previously stated changed my rental agreement against my stated request and not in line with the reservation that I had already made prior to my arrival. That ended up changing my bill to the tune of $75.00 of insurance that I repeatedly declined. What a con artist.
AARON BThey changed the location from the original place of the reservation since they did not have the dolls that reserved with the truck the last moment. When I got to the place for the changed reservation the next morning at 7:00 am. The truck was not ready. Spent an hour on the phone to figure things out, they needed up offering me the bigger truck than I reserved. The app kept on crashing. When I finally picked up the truck, over and hour was spent and to make it worse, there was no dolly in it. The whole point of the changing location was to rent the truck with the dolly. Got on the phone with the customer service for another hour, they reserved the location where the dolly was and texted to me. However, when I got to the location, there was no dolly. I had to get on the phone for another hour letting u guys to figure things out. Literally almost three hours wasted talking to the customer service agents and ran me around to the different locations for nothing, wasting my gas. As the gas price as high as sky, I was not happy at all. I ended up renting the dolly from the Home Depot, because I did not waste time on the phone talking to you guys geo no helping the situation. I had to move out of the state and I was working with the limited time frame, it affected everything. It was the worst experience in my life. I will never use U haul. I will definitely go with different truck company if I have to rent a truck again
Nikki SThe person who opened the store was 20 minutes late arriving which pushed back my schedule. He offered no apology for being late and was not very friendly. He did get me out quickly and performed his job well.
William FThere was a variety of issues first off. They switched my location the night before I was supposed to pick up the truck so I messaged them about picking up the truck earlier than 10 because that was when the location opened and they told me about the ability to pick up the truck without anyone there in the app wasn’t working so I waited till 10 when on the door of the location it said they opened at 9:00. Hoping the individual who worked at the U-Haul would’ve been there and he didn’t show up for 21 minutes after 10 and I said to him is this how a business is supposed to operate and he said it’s not a big deal. I’m just a little late. This is completely unacceptable. If I operated my business this way, I would lose every customer I have. and also was very rude as well at millennium Auto. I think this location should be thoroughly examined for its business practices because showing up that late when you have me waiting and you had another customer waiting to pick up a U-Haul is completely unacceptable and needs to be reported the worst thing is the individual didn’t even think it was a problem wasting our valuable time to start moving. The other issue was the truck. The brakes were absolutely terrible had to step on them very hard to even stop. Very dangerous. I was not happy with my experience at this location.
