Call location in the morning and stated we would be two hours late because of extra day promised at pickup was not on reservation. Drop off location - nice lady - said no problem. Guess what - got charged for an extra day and not a big deal of $60 but why not be honest with the customer and follow through with your promise. A true example of why customers get upset. Honesty goes a long way. That’s maybe why the U-Haul lot was full of trucks and not on the street.

The business owner had multiple political statements and posters displayed throughout the location, which made my partner and me feel uncomfortable. This is an inner-city U-Haul that serves a very diverse community, and the presence of overt political messaging created an unwelcoming environment. A moving service should feel neutral, safe, and focused on helping customers—not promoting viewpoints that may divide people. Because of this experience, I would not return to this location. I hope the company encourages its franchise owners to maintain an inclusive and comfortable space for all customers.

TIFFANY MI was given great treatment. Trailer was ready when I arrived (and I arrived an hour early for pickup). Used the app to pre-register my information, drivers license, etc. So, the transaction was fast and easy.
