Willow LI was told to park the 26 foot truck in a spot that would barely fit a Chevy Suburban. Once I pulled into the lot there was nowhere to safely go. My only option was to proceed through the gate that another customer would open for me, or to backup into a busy 4 lane road. When I called the number on the gate the representative told me that she could not give me access to the gated area (that had at least 8 other Uhaul trucks in it) but provided me no further guidance. I waited for at least 5 minutes for her to give any kind of guidance before driving into the gated area that another customer gave me access to. When I picked up the truck the fuel gauge was between half and 3/4 (i have photo proof) but when I returned the truck, they said that I was given the truck with 3/4 tank and that I returned it with 1/2 tank. I will definitely never use Uhaul ever again, and will go with Penske.
Ryan SIt’s not like renting a truck is something most people do often, but I have done so on a few occasions over the past few years, and I’ve always had a positive experience at the 7441 W Lake Mead location. Everybody I’ve dealt with has been friendly & professional, my billing has always been fair & accurate, and every time I’ve been impressed with how quickly they get me in the truck and on the road.
Frederick MTruck had soda rings and stains in cup holders, back of truck had feet prints and marks. These trucks are clearly not being cleaned and inspected properly. When truck was dropped off, the keys were given to the receptionist, she checked the truck was empty moved it and deemed it complete. Truck was filthy when it was given, gas tank had 3 or 4 gallons and receptionists were rude and doing the bare minimum while being on personal phone calls the entire time. Will not be returning or recommending this location again.
