When we got to the pick up site I wasn't made feel welcome. I had to wait almost an hour to get my truck. The guy at the counter wasn't interested in helping me and had a strong language barrier. He expected me to leave after I put a deposit. He told me he can't help me and there's nothing he can do for me. So I called the UHaul hotline and they spoke on my phone on speaker phone. And THEN he went to get someone who may help me. Even then, the 2nd guy still wasn't trying to hand me my keys he wanted my license after I did all the required documentations online. He took down my info and was trying to get me to hang up on the lady on the hotline. He also snatched my phone from me and began disagreeing with the lady on the hotline. He angrily gave me the key after starting it up himself. He pointed out it had already been damaged and left. AND then the manager came out to see us. They said they'd discount us for the inconvenience. I have not received anything. Even after I had scheduled my truck for 9am, at the Georgetown location. They were supposed to call me to confirm the day before and I received no call. I did however receive an email stating my truck was in Fruitland MD! That's a hike for us. So I called and said I need it closer and the closest was Laurel DE. Middle of no where. It was supposed to be $55 plus $1.29 per mile. We ended up paying $212 before even picking it up. On top of the whole inconvenience. This would be the 3rd time I use UHaul and this has been the first terrible experience I've had with UHaul. Absolute non sense.

I booked at the Bridgeville, DE location a week ahead of time. Got a call a day later and was told I needed to go to the Seaford, DE location for the 20 foot truck. I get to Seaford and they have NO trucks and the attendant there had no clue, was of no help, and barely spoke English. I then had to call your customer service line and be told to go to a 3rd location in Laurel, DE to get the truck I actually booked. This was a giant waste of time and it took another 20 minutes for the guy to get the truck I finally got going. When a customer books a week ahead of time, the truck they request should be at their first choice of pick up. And if you’re going to tell someone to go to a different place then the truck better be there. Felt like I was jerked around through the whole process.
Joshua DParking area is very crowded and made drop off difficult. My return was not immediately processed as I was told to leave the key and I would receive an email. The next day I was contacted inquiring if I had returned the rentals. My return was not processed until the drop off location was contacted by the company.

BRIAN WThe worst customer service i have ever received. The service center provided absolutely zero help with moving the trailer or hooking it up. Thank goodness I had my son with me to do that i could have never done that myself. We were treated very poorly in my opinion.
