Not really sure what you can do other than add staff or have a dedicated UHaul person on busy wknds. This locationwas a gas station, convenience store and UHaul renter - with a lot of trucks. It took a while to get checked out.

The rate for gas is pretty exorbitant and mileage is a bit of a rip off as well. Probably could have had a cheaper moving experience with the same amount of ease with a different company.

Separate U-hall business and Bp gas business. This would speed rental process. They're now serving two customers at the same time.

Very annoying to return truck and fill it back up to 'F', then have the attendant come out and tell me its not on 'Full' and then made me put in $0.73 of gas. Pretty ridiculous.

Your reservation and customer service is terrible and confused. NOTHING that I was told (the second time we have had this experience) happened. Really bad! Your staff, although confused, was professional.

If ordered dollies and other equipment are not available , the customer should be told immediately and not shocked with disbelief once they have arrived. The clerk was rude, by his overall demeanor, and frustrating to understand.

It's a combined gas station/rental location. Only 1 attendant was knowledgeable and there were too many customers. I believe in a Saturday it might be advisable to have 2 folks working. Also signage that the gas station office is also the uhaul office would be beneficial. I walked around the building to find the office first, than had to wait for gas customers and other uhaul customers to finish their check in. I did mobile check in and just needed the keys. But didn't help me much in time savings since again there was a line of other customers

Forced to drop-off at this'd location. Was reserved at Margate BP. Talked to the stuff there, assigned parking location. Detached tow dolly, parked both the truck and dolly. Than he told me he got a call, there is a preferred truck coming, I haves to leave and drop off to The CJ BP. Totally unacceptable!

Personnel at this location was rude and very off-handed when it came to my first interaction with them on the phone. I was calling to modify my reservation only to be yelled at by slimmer Asian man asking me "Why you wanna change reservation!?! Why you wanna change reservation?!" -- completely unwarranted. Other than that, they lack courtesy and they treat you like a nuisance. It was hard to tell if they were yelling at you or the person behind you or if they were servicing anyone. Also, when I was checking out, they gave me a receipt but wanted the first receipt that I got when I checked in. When I asked if I could keep the first one, the guy basically threw it at me. Why? Are they modifying receipts after you leave? Are they running some sort of scam? Sketchy, to say the least.

The staff here was just awful. No costumer service at all. We filled the tank up based on the meter reading information Harrisburg gave us and low and behold we were 5 gallons short. This annoyed the uhaul representative and he didn't care to speak to us about the mix up, only tell us to keep filling (at his gas station). After we filled, he came out with the receipt of drop off and I noticed a note under "Customer Notes"- where I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be notes from the customer and not about them... "Customer did not want to fill up gas tank". How annoying! When we had a real reason for being weary about fill omg more based on the information we were given in Harrisburg. And the store owner at the drop off location only had a financial gain in having us fill more. Messy... glad it's over with. Moving is stressful and UHaul was no help in easing that.

Even though I had pre submitted all the advance/express check in materials, it still took awhile to do the paperwork at pick up time. The associate indicated that the system was slow (I can't verify that, only that he said it).

Service was slow on the morning of 27Aug. There were 4 groups waiting on rentals they had already reserved. I had to leave and come back. The staff (who were also running a service station were curt and not overly friendly. When I came back a gentleman man was working with the staff to get a rental in this location after a reservation in the city fell through. The issue was mileage; he had to travel 20 miles in the wrong direction to get what he needed and so the additional miles put him over the amount. The staff barely understood and told him to call UHaul, the man said he did and that Uhaul told him to talk to the staff. I was then asked all the same questions I was asked when I reserved it AND checked in online until I told the staff to use the reservation info I already filled out. I completed the transaction and hitched the trailer and retrieved my moving blankets which were on the ground across the parking lot. When I returned the trailer, I unhooked it myself, signed nothing and left the attendant yelling at an elderly customer in the parking lot.

Vehicle was ready for appt time, the clerk explained the charges again and told me where I could park my car while I was using the truck. When I returned the vehicle the clerk ( a different one) explained the charges and sent them to me in an email. Just the way I would be expected to be treated.

I made a reservation at the Owings Mills Uhaul center. I received a phone call saying that I would have to go to the one in Lutherville instead and that it is only 9 miles from me. The Lutherville location ended up being 34 miles away from my location, but I did not know that because I am not familiar with Maryland. That is quite a distance (68 miles roundtrip) to get my trailer. When I arrived at the Lutherville location, I had already checked in and paid upfront online so that I could get my equipment faster. However, the clerk kept taking other customers before me (even though I was there before them) because they were there to purchase gas, food, etc - not for Uhaul. I waited for over 30 minutes and when he did finally check me out he took my drivers license and credit card even though I said I checked in and paid online. He said that he still needs to put it in his system. Why did I take the time to check in online if everything was going to have to be input at the site anyway? When I finally go the trailer, there was no furniture dolly. I needed a furniture dolly and the clerks first response was, there aren't any, but don't worry we gave you your $10 back. When I insisted that it isn't the price that is the issue, that I need a dolly for my furniture he told me that they have a dolly at the Cockeysville location. I drove to the Cockeysville location and waited again for 30 minutes because of customers that were in line. When it was my turn the clerk there said that they do not have a furniture dolly and they don't know why I was sent there. I once again stated that I need a furniture dolly and he told me to go back to the Lutherville store. I then asked to speak to someone at Uhaul and he called and asked where the closest dolly is. He told me to go to 3926 Falls Rd in Baltimore. Once again, I am not familiar with Maryland, so I asked if it is far and he said no. But once I got in my car and put the address in my maps app, I realized that it is another 11 miles out of my way, so I didn't get it because I had to start packing in order to be able to return the trailer in NYC that evening before the store closed. It was extremely frustrating and neither of the clerks in either the Lutherville or Cockeysville stores wanted to help me. They just sent me on wild goose chases to get me out of their stores.

The only negative was the attitude of the attendant when my husband wanted to wave the insurance.
